Chapter 4 - Fhen

Deanna Wong.

Finally, we reached the office. It took us a long while din kahit ang lapit lang ng airport sa Makati. Super traffic na talaga dito sa Manila. Ito ang hindi ko na-miss sa Pilipinas. 

I was about to call Fhen to inform her na I'll be going straight to see her but I changed my mind. Nasa parking area na kami. I might as well surprise her.

Non-stop yung flight namin but I had time to change and refresh sa airport kanina. My body clock is still adjusting pa kaya hindi ko pa kailangan magpahinga. I went straight to the main building. Pinagbuksan ako ng guard.

I told him na I'm going to see my cousin, Fhen. Hindi niya ako kilala pa. After checking my ID and confirming that I am indeed Deanna Wong, itinuro nya yung elevator papunta sa office at level 3, room 15.

Maraming mga companies ang nagre-rent dito sa building.  Fhen's company occupied the whole third floor. I think they have around 30 plus employees. 

I must say, I'm impressed with the surroundings. I was here 3 years ago when the company just started. Nasa 10 employees sila nagsimula and look at them now, it is growing rapidly.

Habang naglalakad ako papunta ng elevator, I saw this girl in front, nagmamadali ata. She is walking fast that her hips is swaying from left to right. Naka skirt and heels. Maganda ang legs and sexy. I tried avoiding looking at her but my eyes are glued to her butt. 

Wait. What???  

Biglang bumukas yung door ng elevator at pumasok na yung girl kaya napatawag ako sa kanya.

"Miss, wait for me." I shouted a bit pero hindi yata ako narinig kaya binilisan ko ang lakad. 

Ayun nabunggo ko tuloy ang likod ng babae.   Nabitawan nya ang daladala nyang folders at kumalat sa sahig ang mga papel.

Napansin kong may dalawa kaming kasabay pala sa elevator. I was about to apologize and pick up her things when she suddenly looked at me.

At saglit na nagtama ang aming paningin.  

Shocks, she's so beautiful. Ang labi sobrang kissable, opppss, erase erase.

"I'm sorry." I uttered.

"Look at what you did." she irritably said.

Sabay pa kaming nagsalita. Ay suplada.

Dinampot namin isa-isa ang mga papers na sumabog. Iniabot ko sa kanya ang mga nakuha ko ng marinig kong parang may sinabi siya.

"A-anga anga kasi."

"What? I said I'm sorry Miss. It's not intentional." I said.

Bigla ba naman niya akong inirapan. 

Huh, what's her problem? Maganda pa naman sana kaso suplada. 

Ow erase that, she's pangit pala, hahaha.

"Next time pwedeng tignan mo naman kung saan ka pupunta ng wala kang nababangga." sabi pa ng babae sa akin.

"Yes ma'am." sabi ko na lang. 

Damn, she's fierce. She just smirked at me then looked straight.

Sabay pa kaming lumabas ng elevator. Mukhang dito yata sya nagwo-work. 

Duh, isn't it obvious? Hahaha.  

Pero she turned left while I turned right, going to room 15.

I knocked on the door and waited. I heard some movements inside the room then I heard Fhen's voice.

"Come in." she shouted.

Fhen was surprised to see me and she looks flushed.  That's the time I noticed somebody, another girl, in the corner fixing her hair.

"Buddy, what are you doing here? I didn't realize you were that eager to see me haha." aniya. 

She came near and gave me a hug.

"Am I interrupting something?" bulong ko sa kanya. 

She just smiled.

"Melanie, this is my cousin Deanna, she just arrived from the US.  She will be helping us in securing some clients." sabi ni Fhen.

Ngumiti ako sa kanya.

"And this is my secretary/assistant." pakilala ni Fhen kay Melanie sakin. 

Maputi ito at maganda rin, halos kasing tangkad ni Fhen. On a slim side sya. Mukhang puro magaganda ang mga tao dito ah. Mawiwili ako nito hahaha.

"Welcome and hello ma'am Deanna. Can I get you two something?" she asked.

"Coffee please." sabi ni Fhen.

Tumango din ako kaya lumabas na sya para kumuha ng kape.

Hindi ka pa rin nagbabago sabi ko kay Fhen.  Working with pleasure pa rin itong pinsan ko. Umiling iling lang sya. 

I know her well. Me and Fhen are both into girls.  Our families knows about it and they accept us which is really cool. 

Pagkakaiba lang namin nitong pinsan ko ay sobrang siyang manyak. Basta nakapalda yata papatusin nya. She doesn't do relationships, more on flings lang. 

In short, fuck boy,  hahaha. 

Lagi ko ngang sinasabihan na kapag siya ay nakahanap ng katapat, iiyak ito sigurado. But she just laughed at me. Hindi raw siya naniniwala.

Good thing I'm not like her. I only had one relationship, as in serious relationship pero ako lang pala ang serious, saklap.

At naalala ko na naman siya.

Hay, I tried getting her out of my mind because it's making me sad.
