THE NEXT DAY
"What the hell!? You guys didn't even finish!?" A voice said.
I opened my eyes and saw my dad waking us all up.
"Come on get up! Finish your jobs! You guys are gonna go soon!" Zabi said walking out of the room.
Everyone slowly got up. Wilson quickly started to fill clips while everyone was hung over from drinking to much. I only had one bottle of beer so I helped Wilson out and filled some clips. Soon everyone started to fill the clips up and we were finished. All the guns were cleaned and all the bullets were in the clips. We put all of the clips into plastic boxes and carried them out to the helicopter. Jake and Ben both carried the guns out. We dropped them next to the helicopter and I saw my dad walking up to us. He handed a map to Wilson.
"You should know where to go. But just in case I marked it on the map. This should be an easy and clean raid. I expect a lot from this place so be careful before you set the place on fire. We are running out of seeds as well so try to look for some more. But also come back. This place needs you guys. I expect you guys to leave in 30 minutes" My dad said walking away.
Wilson got into the helicopter cockpit and started to flip a few switches and press a few buttons. He looked over at me.
"Have you ever been on a helicopter before?" Wilson said.
"No I haven't even touched one" I said.
"Well, that would be exciting. Alright let's start putting the rest of the crap in and then we can relax for a little" Wilson said.
We all helped and picked up the boxes putting them into the helicopter. It looked like there was hardly any leg room at all. Wilson gave us straps to put over the boxes so they didn't fall off when we were in the air. When we were finished we all sighed with relief and basically fell to the ground.
"Anyone for a coffee?" Jake said.
"Yeah sure" Wilson said.
"Yeah that would be fucking great" Chelsea said.
"Fuck yeah man" Ben said.
"Yes please" Brooklyn said.
"Yeah, I would love a coffee as well" I said.
"Cool. So six coffees coming up" Jake said walking away to get us all our coffees.
I was staring at the helicopter. Brooklyn walked up to me and looked at it as well.
"It's pretty scary the first time. You feel like your about to fall out" Brooklyn said.
"I can imagine" I said.
"I know you don't want to tell me where your community is but, I just want to know is North Adelaide it?" Brooklyn asked.
"No" I said.
"Would we be flying over it at least?" Brooklyn asked.
"I don't know. But I hope I can at least see it" I said.
A few minutes later Jake came running back with six coffees all on a tray. Everyone took one off the tray and took a little sip.
"Damn I needed this" Wilson said.
"Hey you need to be awake man, I don't want a half asleep pilot in the cockpit" Jake said.
"Trust me I'm alright" Wilson said.
"I know you are" Jake said.
I felt like I was in this big group bond. It felt like back home. The way they talked with each other. They care for each other. It reminds me of it.
