2 WEEKS LATER

We turned Tungkillo into a community a week ago. We built walls around our home and let people in. Most people living in Tungkillo was now all safely living with us. With no worries. We have all basically learned how to take out the infected already, and we are starting to think long term by starting our own small little farm. We decided to do this as most channels and radio channels are gone. Most of them meaning about %95 of them. I was sitting alone on a chair looking at the road as two infected were stumbling down the road. I looked up and saw Lyndi walking up to me. She sat down next to me and I put out my hand. She held my hand.

"So I was thinking maybe we could start a huge bonfire to try to signal other survivors here" Lyndi said.

"That could also signal infected here" I said.

"Yeah. I guess that's true. But we could still try it. Maybe we could do it far away from here. Then wait there for anyone to head to it. We just have to be smart about it" Lyndi said.

"Well forget about it because it's not happening" I said.

"What the hell are you talking about. This is my place so I make the decisions" Lyndi said.

"You make terrible, shit, crappy decisions. That will eventually get us all killed" I said.

Lyndi let go off my hand and ignored me. She then stood up angrily and kicked me.

"Fuck you, prick!" Lyndi said storming off.

"Hahaha" I just laughed as she stormed off.

I finally got some peace and quite. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I woke up a few hours later. I could smell smoke in the air. I quickly got out of my chair and looked up at the sky seeing smoke forming and slowly going upwards into the clouds. It was very grey, and straight away I could tell Lyndi didn't listen and set up a bonfire anyway.

"Fucking hell!" I yelled.

I looked around and saw Mabel and Frances both looking at me.

"What?" I said.

They both turned around and continued to do what they were doing. I stormed over to them and sat down next to them.

"Do you guys wanna know something. Well Lyndi set that fire on purpose, not listening to my warnings. Now we are going to have infected all on us all because of her. When she gets back why don't you get some fucking sense into her head" I said.

Mabel and Frances looked very scared. I stood up and continued staring at them. I saw someone walking up to us. His name was Hue. He's probably the strongest of the group and the smartest. Probably the ideal leader but he doesn't want to be a leader.

"Anything going on here?" Hue said looking at the girls then back at me.

The girls turned around and looked at him. Before they could say something I bathed in.

"Hue. There's nothing wrong here. We are just having a conversation about Lyndi, hoping that she will get back safely" I said.

"Mabel, Frances? Is that true?" Hue said.

Mabel and Frances both nodded slowly.

"Ok then" Hue said walking off looking at me funny.

"What a dick" I said to myself.

I walked out to the balcony of the house and grabbed a beer that was in an esky we had. The beer wasn't very cold but it was fine. I opened the lid using the table and took a long sip of the beer bottle, drinking it almost half empty. I slammed it onto a table as I saw a car driving up to the front gate. James, Hues husband opened the gate and the car drove inside and parked. I saw Lyndi get out of the car with Rex another strong member of the community. They were both holding gasoline and they both put it down. I walked over to Lyndi and gave her a fake hug.

"Why don't you say we have a little talk. Just you and I" I said in Lyndi's ear.

We both walked up to the house. We walked into Lyndi's room, and I closed and locked the door behind us.

"What the fuck where you thinking! I said that this would be a terrible decision, we would be in great danger! But guess what you did fucking anyway!" I yelled.

"When were you the leader of this place. Wait let me check never. You will never lead us, because you are to much of a dick" Lyndi said.

I raised my hand and punched her across the face.

"Fuck you bitch! I could lead this place better then anyone here!" I yelled.

"No. We would be all dead within seconds" Lyndi said.

I kicked her hard against her back. She made a really loud noise like she was in tremendous pain. She began to cry.

"Hahaha. Are you crying?! What a fucking pussy. How can you lead us if you're like this?" I said.

"I'm not even the leader of this place. No one is you dumb fuck!" Lyndi yelled.

I kicked the back of her head.

"Shut up. Bitch!" I yelled.

"You know. The last few weeks. I've been thinking. Did you ever go and try to pick up Sam. Or did you just abandon him and not even try?" Lyndi said.

I didn't say anything. I grabbed her hair and punched her in her face. I then stormed out of the room and went back outside to the balcony. I grabbed my beer again and took another large sip of it. I looked up at the road and heard trucks coming down the road. I saw the trucks coming down the road fast. They then stopped right in front of our gate, and heaps of people ran out of the trucks. I saw a man jump out of the truck holding a gun in his hands. He aimed it at James and opened fire.

"Hahaha" he laughed.

"Shit!" I yelled.

I ducked down as bullets flew past me. I saw Finn running up to me. He ducked down next to me.

"What are we going to do?" Finn said.

"Where getting the fuck out of here" I said.

Finn and I quickly ran around the house and hid there. We stayed till all the people moved in. Once they did we made a run for it and jumped into a car. Once we got into a car I heard the man say.

"Remember my name! I am Heath!" The man yelled.

I saw Hue running over to our car. He jumped in and we quickly drove away. Hue was in the front seat. I don't know why I didn't drive when he was running over. I guess I was in shock from all the gun fire. We drove down the road as quickly as possible. Away from Tungkillo.
