THE NEXT DAY"Wake up! Wake up!" Brooklyn shouted in my ear.
I rolled over and saw her quickly getting into her uniform.
"Where late! Come on get out of bed!" Brooklyn ordered me.
I got out of bed and quickly got my uniform on. It was the same uniform the people were wearing when I spotted them with Alleigh. A white bandana to hide our identity, a white helmet, and a full white suit with the New Order logo on the back of it which was the circle with the star in the middle. I put on my holster and weapons and Brooklyn and I both quickly rushed towards the tent. We ran inside and saw Wilson waiting.
"I told you not to be late" Wilson said.
"Sorry we don't have an alarm so we slept in" Brooklyn said.
"It's fine just don't let it happen again" Wilson said.
"Today you will be meeting the entire crew. They are positioned further out. So follow me" Wilson said.
Brooklyn and I followed Wilson out of the tent. We walked over past helipads with two helicopters on them. We then walked past the markets again, and then finally we stopped at stables.
"You are also going to learn how to ride a horse" Wilson said.
"Sweet!" Brooklyn said looking at me.
She saw that I wasn't really excited so she went quite. Wilson opened the stable door and we walked in.
"Pick one" Wilson said.
I walked down the right side of the stables checking out all the horses. There was five horses on each side so there was ten horses all together. I spotted a shy looking horse in the fourth stable. I walked over to the horse and looked into it's eyes. It was a white horse and it was very dirty and looked like it wasn't looked after very well.
"Who's this?" I asked.
"That's Greasy. She is very shy and scared and she normally bolts off. Nobody really uses her" Wilson said.
"I'll take her. But I would like to change her name" I said.
"Go ahead. She's yours because nobody uses her" Wilson said.
I thought about a name quickly.
"Nice to meet you Nova" I said.
"That's fine. Come over to me I'll show you how to tie them up and put a saddle on them" Wilson said.
He picked up a rope and put it around the horses neck. He then tightened it and opened the stable. He then lead the horse out and put a small blanket on its back. He then put a saddle over the blanket and tightened it with the buckles. He then strapped a thing over the horses face.
"Got that? Now just do what I did on your horse" Wilson said.
I picked up a rope and slowly opened the stable to my new horse. It moved backwards a little.
"Hey girl, it's ok. Calm down" I said reaching my hand out to pat her.
I touched the top of her head with my hand and softly pat her. I then slowly put the rope around her neck and tightened it. I then brought her out and saw that she was very dirty.
"Wilson. Have you got anything I can clean her with?" I asked.
"There's a bucket of water and a brush over there" Wilson said pointing over to the corner.
I walked over to the corner and picked the bucket and the brush up. I slowly started to brush Nova down. She closed her eyes and looked like she was enjoying it.
"Good girl" I said.
"Give her this" Wilson said handing me an apple.
I held the apple out in front of her mouth and she took a massive bite out of the apple. I held it out in front of her mouth until she ate it all. I then continued to brush her down until she was clean. I then set her up and brought her outside where Brooklyn and Wilson were waiting.
"Ok come on" Wilson said.
We all lead our horses to the oval to the front gate.
"Why are we practicing out there, shouldn't we practice in here?" Brooklyn said.
"Well, are you scared of going over the walls. Because if you are, why did you join the army? Training out here will teach you quicker and also we don't have much time" Wilson said as the gates opened.
We all walked out of the gates leading our horses. We stopped and Wilson got onto his horse.
"It's that simple" Wilson said.
Brooklyn and I both quickly got up on our horses. The saddle was a bit uncomfortable but I would get used to it.
"Now look where you want the horse to go and move" Wilson said.
Wilson started to ride off and Brooklyn and I sat there for a bit. We then got the hang of it and we started riding after Wilson. Brooklyn and I were both behind Wilson.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"We are going out near the boarder of Victoria. There's a large horde we need to clear out" Wilson said.
It took about twenty minutes to get where we need to go but we made it. I saw five horses all tied up to a fence and five people all sitting down on a fallen over tree. They were all drinking alcohol and laughing. Wilson, Brooklyn and I all tied our horses up and we lakes over to the people. One of the members was my brother. He stood up.
"Wow. You made it. I can't believe it. Ok, come on boys let's party!" My Brother yelled.
Everyone cheered except for Wilson, Brooklyn and I. Wilson looked angry.
"I thought you said we were actually going to do our job today" Wilson said.
"We don't need to clear that horde out. It will never make it back home" My Brother said.
"Your father said that it is heading straight for us. If we don't do anything about it we will be in danger back home. We are already low on petrol for our helicopter we won't be able to turn the next few hordes away. If your father knew what you actually do instead of your job he would be furious" Wilson said.
"What, are you going to tell him. Because don't you remember the last time you told him. He completely ignored you and didn't believe you. Everyone back home trusts me. That's why I act so superior in front of them. So if you said something they would think you were joking" My Brother said.
"Let's party!" My Brother yelled holding a bottle of beer in the air.
Wilson turned around and walked back to the horses. Brooklyn and I followed him.
"What are we going to do?" Brooklyn asked.
"We're going to clear it ourselves. I've seen the horde with my own eyes, it's not very big maybe only ten Zombies" Wilson said.
"Zombies?" I asked.
"That's what we call them. What do you call them?" Wilson asked.
"I call them Walkers" I said.
"I think Zombies is a better name for them" Wilson said getting up onto his horse.
Brooklyn and I got up onto our horses and followed Wilson. I rode back to Brooklyn.
"What did you call them?" I asked.
"Before Zombies I called them dead ones or deadies" Brooklyn said.
We rode far out again looking for the horde. We rode into a small deserted town. I started to smell something disgusting. We turned the corner and we all saw the horde. Except the horde was bigger then Wilson said.
"It's increased in size!" Wilson yelled.
Nova started to get scared and started to jump around kicking me off, I landed hard on the ground.
