I look at him and he looked away. I wanted to say something to him. Was that a confession?! I smiled at him. Actually...

I shouldn't tell him.

"Hey Haruto, before I tell you anything. Why not you tell me about yourself more?"

"Like your school life or anything about you..."

He thinks.

"There's nothing much about me... My life is kind of boring..."

"I'm sure it isn't that boring... tell me something I don't know,"

I stare at his face. His ears were red.

Y/n looks at him. Her heart shattered.

When he said he likes someone. Did he meant the girl from the picture? Y/n thought.

"If I tell her I like her. I'm scared she'd reject me... We only talked for a few times but somehow she makes me happy..."

"Is she smart?"

"She doesn't like talking about her grades."

"Is she pretty?"

"Very."

"Is she... important to you?"

He nods and blush.

She's the complete opposite of me. Y/n thought.

She tried to hold back her tears. She gives him a smile.

"Well... If she's important to you, you should tell her that."

I fucking hate myself.

I slammed my head on the table. It was the next day after Haruto's confession. No. Not to me. But to someone else. He likes someone else. I feel like an idiot.

Ugh. I came early to class because I couldn't sleep. Why? Because of Haruto. I thought I was special to him but I wasn't. I was just his friend.
