My hands tightly wrap around Grayson's bare shoulders, allowing them to run over his toned muscles. His chest is pressed against mine as he hovers over me on my bed. My legs wrap around his torso, drawing him closer to my half naked body. Our lips continue to kiss each other deeply as he holds onto my waist. The taste of his mouth will always be engraved on my tongue. He gently runs his hands over the outside of my bra. This action causes my body to heat up. A fire is already building in my core.

His lips slowly break away from mine, causing me to open my eyes. The sight in front of me is absolutely mesmerizing. Grayson's eyes are looking directly into mine. It's the most intense stare I have ever encountered with him.

"You're so perfect, Savannah." He whispers while admiring me.

My lips curve into a smile while my cheeks blush from his words. "You should talk."

"No, seriously. You're fucking beautiful in every way." He spoke in a low voice. "I don't know how I got so lucky. I seriously don't deserve you."

"You do." I whisper while removing my hand from his shoulder, moving it to his cheek.

He presses his forehead against mine while letting out a breath. "We shouldn't be doing this."

"What? Spending the day in bed?" I let out a deep chuckle. "Because that's what we've been doing for the past four hours."

"No, I mean, being together." He nervously speaks up. "We should have broken up."

"I know." I whisper while closing my eyes.

"The thought crossed my mind, but I can't bring myself to do it."

"Me either." The thought of losing Grayson seriously scares me.

He leans down and crashes his lips against mine once more. This kiss is more passionate than the ones from earlier. I can tell how much he needs me just from the touch of his lips. I run my hands through Grayson's hair, tugging on it lightly.

I slowly part our lips, my soft eyes opening to meet his. "I love you, Grayson."

A smile spreads on his lips as he begins to untangle his body from mine. "I love you too."

He lays down next to me on my mattress. Without hesitation, I cuddle my body into his. He wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me into his chest. The peaceful silence of my apartment is putting my mind at ease.

"Does Bodhi know where you are today?" I mutter with a sigh.

"I don't give a shit about Bodhi." Grayson says with a scoff. "He won't stop me from seeing you."

"Maybe you should tell him we broke up." I suggest the idea.

"He probably wouldn't believe me. Plus, it would be worse to lie to him."

I gulp, hating how much control he has over my boy. "Why is he the way he is?"

"I wish I knew." He shakes his head. "It clearly runs in the family."

I think back to the day I saw his father sitting in the police station.  It's something my mind refuses to forget. "I saw his father, six years ago."

"How did you see him?" Worry laces his voice.

"When they caught him I requested to see him. He gave me more motivation to become a police officer." I shiver at the thought, which Grayson notices. He leans up and wraps the bed sheets around my body.

"Bodhi obviously has some mental health issues. He needs help, if anything." Grayson shakes his head.

"Was he like this when you met him?" I ask.
