Dean POV
Samuel Winchester was going to die if Dean ever got his hands on him. It may be okay for him to stay out and hang out with friends, but that was as long as Bobby, Castiel, or preferably, himself knew of his whereabouts. This had never been an issue before now so no one had spoken about it. It was an unspoken rule that should have been obvious, especially when so much was going on.
"Dean."
"What?" He growled and looked up to see Castiel looking at him from the couch. He knew he must have looked insane due to his eyes most likely still being red from therapy and exhaustion. He also had been running his hands through his hair every few minutes.
"Could you sit down and stop pacing," he asked softly making Dean realize that he was making the other boy more nervous than he already was and that was the last thing that he wanted to do.
"Sorry," Dean mumbled as he sat down next to the black haired boy on the couch. "I'm just worried."
"They will be fine. Gabriel more than likely got them into some trouble and they had detention or something," Cas reasons but Dean can hear the undertone of anger and worry in his voice. Dean also knows that detention would have already let out by now and the boys would have been home by now if that had been the case. He doesn't say anything though because he doesn't want to stress out the other boy more than he already is. Slowly, he leaned his head on Castiel's shoulder. He had learned earlier that the boy enjoyed skinship when he was worried, but any other time it was best to ask before touching him. It was vise versa for Dean, but he was also quickly learning that he would do anything for the boy next to him and if ignoring his own fears meant that Cas would feel better, he would do it in a heartbeat.
"You know, I think I may kill Samuel when I get my hands on him," Dean whispered not wanting to break the atmosphere that had been created after he had sat down. He could feel a slight shake in Castiel's shoulders when he said that signifying he was laughing at what he had said.
"Yeah, I may kill Gabriel as well. Especially when he promised he'd never do anything like this again," Cas sighs.
That being said, the two fell into a comfortable silence. Neither of them felt the need to speak most of the time, just sitting together and enjoying the presence of the other. It wasn't long until Castiel laid his head on top of Dean's and relaxed more.
Bobby walked in a few moments later and looked at the two sitting on the sofa. Dean watched the man move to the armchair that was seated across from the sofa the two were sitting on.
"Where are the two younger boys?" Bobby asked as the two on the sofa stiffened slightly. Dean didn't like being asked questions, especially the ones that are important. He could feel Castiel stiffen as well as the two of them sat up and looked at the old man.
"We-I am not sure," Dean mumbled looking anywhere else in the room other than the man in front of him. He had not done anything to get in trouble here at this house and he wasn't sure what the punishments were and he wasn't too keen on figuring out what they were, but he knew that he didn't want Castiel to deal with any of it.
"What do you mean?" Bobby queried making Dean anxious. Castiel was still beside him, but he wasn't saying anything. He looked at him to see he was staring out the window. Deciding he wasn't much help he finally looked at the old man to see a curious look on his face.
"They weren't here when we got here like usual and they aren't answering their phones either, but I'll find them," Dean spat out quickly as he gaged the other man's reaction to what he had said. When he didn't see any, he relaxed slightly into the sofa again and scooted closer to Castiel hoping he wouldn't mind too much.
