nick pov:

"nicholas dont you know its not polite to eavesdrop. " my mom said when she saw me fall onto the kitchen floor. and i looked up at bailey and she was laughing at me

"sorry ma" i said and brushed off my pants and headed to where bailey was, i planted a kiss on her cheek and sat across from where she was standing. "so what about kids?" i asked her

bailey pov:

when i saw nick fall into the kitchen my heart kinda stopped because i didnt know if he felt the same way about marriage or our future, but those thoughts were over thrown by the fact that nick was lying on the kitchen floor and getting scolded by his mom. nick got up and kissed my cheek and sat down across from me and asked "so what about kids?"

"well i want to have a family 100% no doubt but i want to live up my life before then and i want to be married and stable." i finished tossing the salad and placed it on the table. once i walked by nick after putting the salad on the table he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me into a room next to the kitchen that looked like an office and closed the door

"nick i have to help your mom" i complained as i tried to open the door but he blocked it

"you really want to get married and have kids" he asked

"yes" i replied

"with me?" he asked again this time with a happy look on his face

"of course with you who else" i kissed his lips

"you know we never really talked about our future before" i said as we stood there hugging

"i know thats why i was snooping, btw i feel the same way you do about marriage and kids" nick replied which made me smile so big and kissed him. the kiss started to turn hot "nick nick we cant" i whispered so he parents couldn't hear

"i know but i want to" nick pouted

"another night that will not happen with your parents in the house" i said as i walked by him out in the kitchen, where i saw two new people.

"bailey, this is mia and chris" mr.mara said pointing to them

"hi, its nice to meet you" i said hugging them

"everyone in the dining room its time to eat" mrs mara said and we all made our way to the dining room. i took a seat and nick took the one next to me and nicks sister mia took the one next to me as well. "before we start can i get anyone a drink?" mrs mara asked as she stood behind my chair.

"umm do you mind if i go look to see what you have?" i asked

"no not at all come with me" i excused myself from the table and walked to the kitchen.

once we were in the kitchen she asked "you wanna know where the alcohol is right?"

"if you dont mind" i laughed a little shyly

"no problem what are you feeling?" she asked surprisingly alright with the fact i wanted to drink

"do you have any rose?" i asked

"ohh girl we are one in the same, let my go into my secret stash" she replied which made me like this women even more. she got a bottle and poured a glass for myself and herself and we walked back into the dining room to see everyone already digging in.

"wow she let you have her rose, she must really like you" mia said as she drank her water and i laughed a little and took a sip

"shes right" rob said from across the table and i shrugged

"im also surprised that she's letting you drink, she didnt let me touch alcohol until i was 21, not saying that stopped me tho" nick smirked

"what are you kids talking about down there" mrs mara asked

"nothing important ma" mia responded. we continued to eat our dinner which was amazing and buy the time we finished we were all sitting in the living room talking about nicks childhood and watching old videos of nick. nick and i were cuddled up together on the couch, not too touchy because we were still around his family and we were watching a home video from Christmas when nick was 7.

"awe you were so cute!" i said as i pointed to 7 year old nick eating christmas breakfast.

"were!?" nick asked pretending to be offended and i playfully pushed him "your still cute, but not as cute as you were" the night grew old and it was soon 12 pm and i was on nicks chest while the rest of his family was having a conversation i was half awake but half asleep at the same time.

"you seem really happy nicky" mia said

"i am" nick replied and rubbed my back

"how have you been doing in la?" nicks dad asked

"good, its been go, go, go for a while now, so im glad that i got to take some time off and travel with bailey" nick replied "thats why shes so tired"

"i really like her nick, you picked a good one" nicks mom said

"thanks ma, i saw you let her drink your rose" he laughed a little

"yeah like i said you picked a good one" she replied

"when are you guys leaving?" chris asked

"2 days then we are heading to meet her parents" nick said and started playing with my hair

"oooouuu nervous?" rob asked

"nah, im excited." nick replied which made me smile in my mind and at this point i was fully asleep on nicks chest.
