Nicks POV:
bailey and i walked into the hospital hand in hand, both of us very nervous. today was the day that we would find out if bailey was cancer free, yes cancer free. it's been a long year and a half of treatments and doctors visits. i have stayed here with bailey for the whole year and a half, i made a trip to my families house around christmas and went back home to visit the guys once but that's it. all of the guys have come out here to be with us which we appreciate so much. the guys have been producing and writing songs but nothing new has been released yet because of bigger things.

bailey and i walk into the hospital, "appointment for bailey steffanina"

"room 245" the nurse said and pointed down the hall

"are you ready?" i asked bailey

"ready as i will ever be" she replied. we opened the door to the room and sat in the chairs and waited.

we waited for about 10 minutes until a doctor came in, "hi bailey how are you?" doctor grey asked

"good, nervous" bailey replied

"it's ok to be nervous, how are you nick?" doctor grey asked

"good, couldn't sleep too well last night though" i replied

"that's understandable, let me check your temperature and blood pressure first bailey."

Baileys POV:
Doctor grey rolled up my sleeves and took my blood pressure, which i'm sure is high because i'm so stressed about these results, this is my whole life we are talking about. "blood pressure is a little high, but i'm sure it's just because your anxious" she smiled "ok as for the results" she looked at her clip board

nick then stood up and walked to the bed i was sitting on and held my hand and kissed my forehead. i squeezed his hand so tight i'm surprised he didn't stop me.

"so the test results read that, your cancer cells are in remission, you are on your way to be cancer free, congratulations." doctor grey said

my heart stopped i was so beyond happy. the first thing that nick did was hug me so tight as i just sobbed. then nick let me go and hugged doctor grey "thank you so much" nick told doctor grey

"im happy i could help, now get out of here and celebrate!" doctor grey said as she exited the room. i pulled nick into another hug, "i'm in remission!" i said excitedly tears still staining my cheeks.

"you did it! i'm so happy for you. i love you so much bailey." nick said

"we did it nick" i said and pulled nick into a small but meaningful kiss. "who should we tell first?" i asked pulling away

"your family and then the guys, the guys are all waiting by the phone waiting for our call." nick told me as we left the hospital

"hi were home!" i yelled as we entered my house. we walked in to see my brothers matt, and sam, my sister maya and my parents, and not to forget hailey matt's girlfriend in the living room with worried looks on their face. "i'm in remission!" i scream and i was immediately embraced in hugs from my whole family. this is the happiest i have been in a year and a half. i can finally live my life now.

"you ready?"nick asked me as we got ready to call the guys to tell them the good news.

"ready" i said and dialed aaron's number

yes, all the ogs and prettymuch guys
well.... i'm in remission!
wooooooo, we are so happy bailey
same here i can't wait until i can finally go back to la again
we have to throw a party
no, i'm not 100% yet remission is just the first step
fine when your 100% then we are going to have the biggest party ever
