Chapter 10.

*THE NEXT DAY* (y'all thought I would continue at the date? Nahhhh I'll leave that to your imagination)
Y/N POV
I woke up as usual because I'm not dead and I got ready for school, I put my uniform on, pins in my hair, then left, my father wasn't there so I didn't eat breakfast or so I thought because when I went outside Shoto was outside my door holding a warm bento box, he must've been warming it up from his quirk since steam was coming out.
"Let me guess skipped breakfast?" He asked as we started walking.
"Yeahhhh, I didn't feel like eating." I say as I look up at the sky.
"Yet you complain about not eating? You can never decide can you?" He said as he gave out the bento box to you.
"Well I change my mind last minute!" I say grabbing the bento and opening it was a beautiful assortment of what looked liked breads and fruits. I grab a piece of (f/f) (fav fruit) and ate it. In the corner of my eye I can see him smile, which he does around me a lot but I couldn't get over the idea that he thought it was cute of me eating. As we walked into school grounds midoriya, Iida, and uraraka came running over. todoroki looked at me in a upset tone, my guess was because we were used to it being us. Before I could say hello Todoroki was already walking towards the school leaving me alone with the trio. "Good morning" I said to all of them.
"Y/N!!!! IS IT TRUE YOU WERE PRACTICING WITH YOUR DAD YESTERDAY!!" Uraraka and Midoriya said which was but I answered.
"Yes? Is that a problem?" I guess I sounded annoyed because they shuddered in fear.
"Well um... we were wondering can he help us train for the sports festival coming up?!" Midoriya said with a wide smile, sadly I had to make the smile go away.
"My father is a busy man Midoriya he had time yesterday so he can train with me, I'm almost sure that If I asked my father he would immediately say no, and my father can never be convinced." I said in the most stern voice that they have ever heard since their happy smiled faded quickly.
"B-but if you try maybe just maybe" uraraka said trying to be persuasive.
"I would try, really I would but if I can't persuade my father to let me be friends with todoroki then he won't help train you." I said as I started to walk away.
"Those are different topics l/n-San!" Uraraka yelled people were starting to look at the commotion. I used to be able to handle people looking at me but this was a different reason and I was feeling uncomfortable. "So why can't you try!?" Uraraka yelled again people started whispering. "I-I can't... really I can't" I used my quirk and sped into the school hiding in a janitors closet and leaving the trio outside, with the whispering people.
Shoto's POV
I saw everything that happened I didn't hear it but I saw it. I shouldn't have left her alone. After she ran I left the classroom. I went to find her and soon enough I did, she was in a janitors closet.
"...hey you okay?" I said quietly as I sat down right next to her, her (s/c) face was red and puffy from crying it was breaking my heart.
"I froze... I was being reasonable.. Uraraka didn't mean it right? She didn't mean to make a scene.. right?" Y/n's voice broke with each word she said. I didn't know what came over me, but I hugged her, I thought she would push me back or tense up but she didn't do either, what she did was hug back her head was by the crook of my neck. Her tears were still flowing, rubbed her back and forth. She was crinkling my jacket with her fingers, though it's not like I minded. What did bother me was someone taking a picture of me and    y/n hugging before I could do anything the person was gone, with the photo I didn't know that it would ruin her life for the next month.
*THE NEXT DAY*
Y/n's POV
The way I would wake up today was not how I expected, it was with my father pulling off my cover and yelling at me. Since I was drowsy from just waking up the only beginning words I could here was "DOING WITH SHOTO TODOROKI!? I TOLD YOU NOT TO DEAL WITH THAT HALF SIDED PRICK!"
My father yelled and I looked what he was holding it was a newspaper saying
BREAKING NEWS!!! IS #2 HERO ENDEAVORS SON SHOTO TODOROKI DATING #3 DUOS PHANTOM BULLET'S DAUGHTER Y/N L/N!?!
It was front cover I couldn't even defend myself because all I was dealt was a slap, a punch, and a kick. My father isn't abusive but that didn't stop my dad from once in awhile hurting me if I disappointed him and I didn't tell him immediately. After the beating I was left bleeding, with the newspaper left in front of me. I screwed up a lot
