Chapter 15.

Y/n POV day before sports festival
I woke up and headed downstairs. My father was gone guessing it was because the sports festival was tomorrow and he needed to finish all the work he had to get to watch the festival in person. I needed to get some air from my home so I got dressed and went out, I headed towards the park and sat at one of the benches. I had brought a book with me and I decided this could be the time to read a book, laughter from children seemed to appear everywhere it gave me memories of when I played in the playground with my mother. In the corner of my eye I noticed Shoto. He wasn't walking near me, he was walking across the street with his sister and brother. I turned to get a better view of them. Natsuo who I've spoken too only a few times was happily smiling as he spoke to Fuyumi who was holding some groceries. Shoto was walking behind them listening to their conversation, he was holding the rest of the groceries. Today was one of rare moments where they could spend time together, it was nice them happily walking as they laughed. I wished I was there. I had only walked with them once and that was when I was five. My mother was walking with Rei and we were all walking behind them. Enji wasn't there since he had business to do. I almost wanted to yell out 'hey! How's it going?' But me following my fathers orders I simply walked the street they were on since it's the only way to get to my house, they were about to cross the other street when I was spotted by Shoto. Though he only said "y/n?" In a confused manner. Since I didn't respond and quickly walked away he might've thought it was in his imagination. When I had gotten home I flopped onto the couch. I was bored out of my mind! I wanted to message Shoto like I did when I was bored. Instead I got the remote for the tv and turned it on. Nothing interesting was on so I just kept scrolling through channels till I passed out. I soon woke up 3 hours from the time I had fall asleep. It was the afternoon so I decided I to train for the rest of the time. The sports festival is tomorrow so I need more practice.
Shoto's POV
Today was supposed to be simple wake up, train, and eat. But instead my sister invited me and natsuo to go get groceries with her. Since it was one of the times I could spend time with both of them I agreed. Natsuo laughter was all we could really hear as he said jokes and puns. We went to the grocery store and grabbed what we needed. Me and Fuyumi were holding the groceries as Natsuo didn't bother to grab anything. Still Fuyumi and Natsuo spoke to each other and I simply listened. We were going to walk to the other street when I thought I saw Y/n. "Y/n?" I said as I turned to see what I thought was her. There was no response so I didn't call out again. "Shoto what're ya doing?" Natsuo said them already on the other street wait for me. When I walked over to them Fuyumi spoke "you saw Y/n too?" Her question startled me I thought I only saw her in my imagination. "Yes" I casually say acting as if nothing was wrong about it.
"Oh right! Y/n is the daughter of F/n and M/n right?" Natsuo said as he finally took some groceries from my arms.
"Yes, She is. Shoto are you and her still not in speaking terms again?" Fuyumi asked.
"No. I've tried speaking to her but thanks to the rumor I believe she's following her fathers order to not talk to me." I said a little upset that I haven't been able to speak to her.
"Well I mean her father does hate our family so what'd you expect when he sees that his daughter is being hugged by her rival." Natsuo said looking at me.
"She was upset. And since I am or was her friend I had all right to comfort her. Still I believe it kinda hurts knowing she isn't talking to me." I said more upset that I couldn't speak to her.
"It's okay Shoto you'll speak to each other again." Fuyumi said with a smile. And with that our conversation about Y/n ended the rest of our walk was Natsuo blabbering about other things and Fuyumi agreeing with some of them. Once we got home we put the groceries away and I went to train. The sports festival was tomorrow.

Yo so hope you enjoyed the chapter short I know but what can I do when my connection glitches out and my progress deletes. Sports festival is tomorrow and it will cause more drama, now if you excuse me I need to rewatch the sports festival episodes to see how accurate I can make my chapters. Byeeee~
