Flashback No. 1

Teenage years.
D/n POV
"You're looking at her again." My only friend at the time said as they flicked my head.
"Huh? No I'm not I'm just... um... okay yeah I'm totally looking at m/n is it really that obvious?" I laid my head down in shame.
"No. Unless you're trying to get yourself caught. So tell me why are you interested in m/l/n(mothers last name)?" They pulled a chair next to me.
"I don't know I just started doing it. We both act like we live in different worlds even though we live in the same earth. She's lucky y'know? She has all those friends and all that potential for relationships." I sighed as I leaned back on my chair.
"So? If you like her tell her. You just have to shoot your shot if you want her to like you." They opened their lunch and started eating.
"You think it's that easy? Okay so I'll be like hey m/l/n I really like you want to go on a date? It's too sudden we don't even talk to each other." I stated as I stole their drink.
"H-hey! That's mine! Tch no don't be like that upfront. You're right you don't talk to her that's why you should." They pulled out a spare drink.
"Eh it's fine it's just a crush right? It'll go away when the time comes." I took a sip of the drink I stole from them.
"Alright if you say so..."
*the next day*
"Good morning l/n-kun!" M/l/n said which quickly startled me.
"AH-eh um... oh hello M/l/n.." she's talking to me... this is incredible!!! Wait why is she talking to me. Immediately i shot daggers towards my friend. They gave me a snarky grin.
"Good luck with class today, I heard today we're going to have a quiz." Her eyes sparkled. I never spoke to her and now I am.
"Yeah. Good luck to you too."
And like that she started coming towards me every morning to say good morning. Even at times she would ignore her best friend Enji Todoroki to say hello. Speaking of Todoroki. I never really liked him. All he wanted was power and money. I always thought why would m/l/n hangout with him. But I never asked. *three months later*
"So I'll see you tomorrow?" She asked in her usual way.
"Yeah."
"Alright, I'll be going now-"
I cut her off.
"Wait! Um I've been meaning to ask you this for awhile now, but I never got the chance too..." Y'know that feeling like stuff is moving around in your stomach because you feel nervous. That's what I'm feeling right now.
"What is it?"
"Will you... um.. be my girlfriend? It's alright if you say no I just-"
"Sure." I was thrown off since I was leading myself towards rejection.
"Wait really?"
"Yeah really. But I'm giving you a chance to back down on your own offer. I'm not as great as you think I am..." she sat down on the stairs she was about to climb.
"What do you mean of course your great! Why wouldn't you be?" I wanted to give her encouragement I didn't want her to look down on herself.
"Well you know that mental condition where you have multiple personalities? Well I have that it's just I take a prescription that helps me control all of those personalities... not even Todoroki-kun knows that I have this. So I ask you again. Are you sure you want to date me. Because if you want to then I want too." I was startled at first but... she trusted me enough to tell me that she had that. I love her. So what? Who cares if she has different personalities I'll just love them as much as I love her right now. "Yeah I'm sure. I don't care if you have multiple personalities. I'll just love them as much as I love you right now." In confidence I told her that. As I held my hand out she immediately grabbed it. She hugged me and said "I love you too.. but you're an idiot for doing this."
"It's fine. I'll be a idiot." As we embraced I never knew what kind of hell I would be putting myself into... even though I was warned....
*three months back m/n POV*
"You want me to what?"
"Please start talking to l/n d/n!" I was confused by the request.
"Wait who? I don't think I talk to them." What quirk do they have? Wait was their name again???
"Y'know l/n-kun? The one that has the quirk shadow control? And yeah no duh you don't talk to them that's why I want you to speak with him."
Oh that guy!
"Oh him. Sure I'll talk to him." Their eyes gleamed with happiness. I wonder why? Oh was it because I accepted her request. I gave a quick goodbye. And headed towards the guy they wanted me to talk to.
"Good morning l/n-kun!" My approach startled him. Well no shit he was startled you could easily tell he yelped.
"Hello M/l/n." Damn they quickly calmed down? Or are they just awkward. Wait who cares just get it over with.
"Good luck in class today! I heard we're taking a test." Okay great now he'll respond and then I can head over to Enji. Wait why am I thinking of Enji right now? Let me just get this task done and over with.
"Yeah you too." He said as he sat down in his seat.
"Thanks" I then walked over to Enji.
"Morning." Enji looked at the guy I spoke to and then to me.
"Okay why'd you talk to the shy freak with a strong quirk? You guys have never spoken to each other once." As expected he's questioning our actions. Should I just tell him it was a favor for someone? Nah then he's gonna ask who asked me to do that.
"Yeah I know. That's why I wanted to talk to him. Increase my popularity." He looked at me as if I was stupid.
"He's one of the quiet ones. How would he be able to help." I could think of many ways damnit! His quirk is for one of the reasons, and he is pretty cute if he dropped the glasses for some contacts, and if he took off his sweater once in awhile. Seriously I never see him do something without it even in the scorching hot weather.
"Well his quirks for one. He's popular in that department. Even if he doesn't have friends." He gave me a look of confusion. Why? Did I say something to make him confused.
"So you're saying if you hang around him. You'd get more popular because of his quirk." He bursted our laughing "THATS THE SMARTEST THING YOUVE EVER SAID!!" His laughter disturbed the classroom that has yet to start. I have to quiet him down now.
"Will you shut it. I was able to be friends with you wasn't I? So why can't I become friends with him?"
As he stopped laughing he answered.
"I'm not saying you can't be friends with him. From what I've seen you can be friends with him easily I'm laughing because if you got together with him if you had a child you'd get a powerful quirk. Like me I'm going to have a quirk marriage. Why not we both do it?" And now he had me dumbfounded. He wanted a quirk marriage? And he wants me to do one too? Wait who would he have a quirk marriage with?
"Yeah right. If anything I'll just be his friend nothing else.
*three months later*
It was three months since I started hanging out with l/n-kun.
"I'll be going now-" I was cut off by him. Why? What does he want to say? WAIT WHAT IF HE CAUGHT ON TO MY TRICK!?!
"Wait! I um wanted to tell you something... for awhile now..." no. It's not what I think it is...
"Will you be my girlfriend?" ITS A CONFESSION!!! Noooo this cant be happening! I've been able to hide my condition for so long. I said the first thing that came up in my head. "Sure." NO WAIT I ACCEPTED!!? DAMNIT NOW I HAVE TO TELL HIM!!!
"Wait really?" Damnit!!!! He already has his hopes up. Ugh y'know what I was gonna have to tell someone eventually...Well besides my mother and father...
"Yeah really. But I'm giving you a chance to back down on your own offer. I'm not as great as you think I am..." he's gonna encourage it. So who cares he looks like a trustworthy person to tell.
"What do you mean of course your great! Why wouldn't you be?" His kind words comforted me. Maybe I do like him. Eh who knows.

Okay I didn't expect that. Now I feel bad... he's willing to deal with me? A waste of space with this condition. I guess you can say I'm lucky huh. But why don't I feel lucky... But nonetheless I hugged him. "I love you too... but you're a idiot for doing this y'know?" I could feel a smile grow on his lips. "It's fine. I'll be a idiot." I wanted to hug him forever... and yell to him that I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you're about to sink in the rabbit hole with my mess. To say sorry that I'm going to ruin his life.... even I can't control them. One day without the medication I'm told that I'll be unstable. I say I'm told because I don't remember any of it when it happens I'm only conscious when I take it. So that's why. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry d/n l/n that I'll ruin your life.....
*flash back no. 1 end*
