Y/n POV
It was time to head to the my fathers agency. We were all saying goodbyes and see you laters till I overheard Midoriya's and Iida's conversation it was true that Iida's brother had been attacked by a villain the past week but the fact that he is heading towards the city that his brother had been injured in? I was only thinking of the worst outcomes until Shoto broke my train of thought.
"Y/n? It's time for me to go." He said as he tapped my shoulder.
"Oh! Right sorry I got distracted. If you ever want to rant about your dad message me. Okay?" He gave a little grin so little no one would be able to notice.
"Same for you too. Don't let your father push you too much." I always liked the fact Shoto career for me even though I was perfectly capable on doing so.
"Yep will do! Now go you don't wanna miss your ride." We waved each other goodbye and he left. I had to catch my ride too so I left shortly after that. On my way towards the agency I couldn't help but realize how close hosu is. It was a good 15 miles away just by using my quirk. Who knew it would effect me in the long run. As I got to my destination I had almost forgotten how it looked like I hadn't been here since I was a child and whenever I train it's always at my house. The building was beautiful it stood out from most of the other buildings beside it. As I entered I was immediately greeted by many of my fathers trainees or shall you say side kicks.
"Y/N!" They most were young aspired to help and defend others which is why they chose this agency. My parents were one of the frontlines go in hold them steady then let others attack. Most of these were new faces but some I can remember since well when I was a child. This agency was strangely like family sure we never see each other on holidays but we always have fun with each other.
"Now now give her space your crushing her." Most of them let go.
"Oh come on d/n! It's been years since we've seen her and some need to know how great of a prodigy she is!" The girl I was looking at was one of mothers trainees I met her when she was around twenty I was five and I spent most of my time with her sure she's now in her thirty but she hasn't changed.
"I'm not that special. I've just been putting a lot of hard work." She gave me a grin and started leading me somewhere.
"I'll take her to where she'll be staying!" I heard my father groan but started giving orders to the others such as rounds. As I followed her, wait what her name? I don't remember it.
"Hey um funny question what's your name?" She stopped walking.
"You don't remember? Oh well it has been a while. My name is Chiyo. Simple name know but eh we can't complain about the names we were given. Anyways we're here." She opened it to show a room you'd see in a average house the bed was a decent size and there was a window you can easily jump out of to head to the other buildings. I entered then room and placed my items down. Chiyo sat down on the bed her happy expression she had earlier had now faded. "Hey? Um how much did you know about your mother?" I knew I was bound to get this question at least once but I was hoping it wouldn't be soon.
"Not much I was five when I lost her remember? So I would like to hope that she was a kind and caring mother. But I'm not so sure anymore." She turned to look my direction.
"What do you mean? What have you been told?" I sat down and sighed.
"Not much I've only recently started ease dropping on my fathers conversations and then him slipping out some bad things my mother did by accident. Why? Can you tell me more about her?" She nodded her head and began to speak.
"Well for the most part your mother was caring and kind as you predicted, But that was only when she was on her medication." I nodded for her to continue.
"Your mother... well was a bit harsh to us when she didn't get what she wanted. When that happened your father would tell us to leave the room." She scratched her neck.
"Maybe I shouldn't be telling you this I don't want you to get a bad representation of your mother..." I wasn't about to ruin my opportunity to find out more of my mother.
"No! Continue." She sighed then proceeded.
"When your mother came out of the room each time she was kind as if she didn't yell at us. And well when we peaked in the room we were asked to leave from we would see D/n standing there. Removing his shadow control off the walls." She paused.
"Whenever he was doing that we could hear him cry. We always know him as the stern hero that we look up to be but your mother always made him cry whenever they were alone together. He would even come out with bad gashes or cuts." I can see why she meant she didn't want me to have a bad representation of my mother she sound horrible. But I don't want to believe it.
"So.. you think my mom was cruel or at least to just my dad?" She looked at me as if she regretted what she told me.
"No! I just wanted you to know more about her and her position in the work place! She was great whatever I said you can just forget about! Oh well if you look at the time it's time for me to start training! Got to go head to bed soon okay?" She immediately bolted out of the room. My curiosity of my mother was increased by just a single story. It was getting late though time really flew who knows why though. I soon got ready for bed. It wasn't as comfortable as my actual bed but it was at least average to say the least. I closed my eyes hoping to train in the morning.
