Chapter 22.

Todoroki's POV
His words shocked me, but I quickly presumed that y/n's mother was in love with my father while she was married to d/n. I looked up at him tears in his eyes but he still smiled. If I could I would ask so many questions. Though I know he'd just ignore them.
"I'm sorry I mentioned that last sentence, let us forget what I said alright?" He got up from the seat.
"I'll let you be alone with her, ok? I gotta go do something." He the. Left the room. As I looked at y/n it hurt me knowing that she risked everything to save everyone, even though my father took credit and my pleads for her to let me go she just smiled and made us leave. All of us were hurt sure but the fact she's not awake terrifies me. What if she doesn't wake up? I grabbed her hand knowing it wasn't gonna make her wake up but I wanted her to know that I was there. Her hand was warm but still very cold, it was like her body temperature couldn't decide wether to be warm or cold. I suppose it's due to the lack of blood flow. Her pulse was normal but I felt like she could slip away in any waking moment. Once her father returned I took my leave I had to go back to my internship and I know y/n would understand.
Y/n's POV
Everything was pitch black. My body hurt. I could hear almost everything when I was conscious I could hear my father cry and apologize saying for me not to go with my mother. I also know that one of the days when I couldn't talk or open my eyes Shoto came. I can't recall what my father said he didn't speak but he did hold my hand or well I think. I wanted to hug Shoto knowing he wasn't harmed during the attack. It wasn't until a day later I was able to open my eyes and actually communicate. The light actually hurt my eyes since they've been closed for the longest time which was a few days but still. What was worse was the physical therapy that I needed. It hurt I could barley move my legs, what was worse was that I would have to go back to U.A. With a wheelchair so they're going to ask so many questions. But nonetheless I started adapting with the wheelchair and how I could use it to an advantage. Soon enough I was able to use my quirk with the chair and luckily it was by the time the internship was over. Shoto was happy to see me when he came to walk with me to U.A. My upper body had most of its functionality so I was able to do most things. He also understood that it would be awhile before I was fully capable to move around again. When we got to class Midoriya and Iida came to ask me if I was okay. I nodded and reassured them that I was alright but that they needed to keep quiet. On the other hand the others were the most curious. "WOAH! L/n! What happened are you okay?" Asked Mina. "I'm alright I accidentally trained to hard and my legs gave out so now I'm in this wheelchair till I can move again." They were concerned but continued their chatter. "You went to go train with your dad, right? Why'd he push you so hard?" Kaminari asked as well.
"He didn't mean too. He knows how far I could go but he just wanted to see if I could hang on a little more." I replied Sero then went to ask another question.
"But why your legs? Shouldn't your whole body be worn out?" He wasn't wrong but I answered his question. "Well I was practicing dodges and more ways to use well my legs." I answered once more. I then excused myself from their area and went to my seat where Iida apologized in which I him it was my fault I was like this and that he shouldn't worry about something that's already being taken care of.
Finally Mr. Aizawa came in and started class. It finally felt normal again.

Uhhhh hey? Sorry for the 3 month disappearance time kinda flew and I kinda had to take a break from this and stuff in general so this kinda went out of my mind until I went back into wattpad and witnessed all the notifications. Anyways thank you for liking my story and hopefully I can start the next ark for this story as you can tell we are technically still in season two and I need us to get to season 4! So if we have small chapters I hope you can still enjoy them. Next chapter will continue this storyline. Flashbacks will be delayed for a bit. Bye have a good rest of your day.
