(Sorry for not posting that much
I'm going through some stuff irl)
================================Webby trudged through the forest. She was starting to rethink her decision. She had regretted making a deal with Bill before, why would she do it again. She kept thinking back to the conversation, why had she let that happen. It was as if her mind was being messed with, one person coming back to life couldn't be worth the price of everyone on Earth. Webby stopped and sat down. She decided not to go on, she could probably just fake her own death or rebel, try and escape Bill. Suddenly, her wrist started glowing. She looked down at it as a ribbon wrapped around her wrist.
"What the.." she started, until Bill appeared.
"I thought you might want to back out of our deal!! This may seem like a puny ribbon to you, but it's unbreakable and will only get tighter until you fulfill our deal!" Bill cackled.
"And what if I don't do it" Webby retorted,
"Then the ribbon will keep getting tighter until it squeezes your hand off!" Bill replied joyfully. Webby backed away,
"You're insane" Bill snickered
"Sure I am kid, what's your point?!" He disappeared as color returned to the world.Webby continued walking, a tiny bit of tears in her eyes. As she approached a tree unlike the others, she began to have flashbacks. This tree was the reason all of this was happening, this tree is where all of it started, this tree was made of birch. She wished she could go back in time and stop all of this from happening. She looked up at the birch tree, and walked through it.
As she emerged into the other forest, she looked onward. Webby thought that there could be a possibility Bills magic was ineffective in this dimension, but sadly she looked at her wrist to still see the tight ribbon squeezing her right wrist. She sighed and continued onward, Bill had said that there should be an old shack somewhere in the woods. She continued on and on. Realizing that she didn't have any fresh water or food witho her, as she became quite hungry. Webby started searching for a stream or a berry bush, roll instead of the shack. Suddenly, the ribbon started tightening faster. Webby yelped, and yelled at the ribbon.
"I'M LOST IN THE FREAKING WOODS, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FIND ANYTHING IF I'M DEAD". The ribbon loosened the smallest bit and Webby held her aching wrist as she continued on.As she walked, she heard a rustling in some bushes. She quickly turned her head to the bush and got in a fighting stance. Webby hoped that this was a bunny instead of some weird creature. As the rustling stopped, Webby lowered her stance. She regretted doing so as a gnome leaped from the bush and bit her her arm. Webby started trying to shake the gnome off as she stumbled and fell backwards into a patch of ropes, which then pulled her into the air.
"Wait what?! What's going on?!!" She yelled, confused. She heard the small ringing of a bell from afar, as if someone had planted this trap ages ago and was waiting for it to catch something. Webby began to try struggling free, normally she would be able to do this with no problem; however, she was starting to lose circulation in her right hand and a gnome was still biting on to her left arm. She began to start trying to get the gnome off of her arm, attempting to somehow shake it off. Webby eventually managed to get her beak down and bite the gnome back. The gnome finally let go and got caught in the ropes himself, he then continued to chew his way out. Webby grunted and started untying the roped with her left hand and attempted to hold it in place with her right. This proved unsatisfactory, as her hand kept loosing its grip. Webby reached into her pocket to see if she had anything, she pulled out a pocketknife. "I really had a pocketknife this whole time, seriously." She grunted at her own stupidity, and started to cut herself free.As she landed on the ground she heard a rustle in another bush.
"IF YOU'RE ANOTHER GNOME I SWEAR I WILL STAB YOU!!" She threatened. However, what emerged from the bushes wasn't a gnome. In fact, Webby had no idea what the creature was. As she stared at mysterious creature with confusion, it started screaming. Another one of the creature emerged from the bushes, and began screaming as well. Webby covered her ears, as the two creatures stopped screaming and one of them began laughing. Webby held up her pocketknife in defense,
"W-what are you?" She asked, hesitantly. The two creatures glanced at each other.
"Um.. we're human." One of them stated, Webby still looked in confusion.
"What's a human..?" She asked. The two humans looked at her as if she was the dumbest person alive. "Is this a joke?" The one with short hair was surveying her,
"and what are you? Some sort of duck hybrid?" Webby was still confused. How could they know what she is and she not know what they are.
"I'm a duck.." she stated. The human with long hair started squealing.
"OMG DIPPER SHE'S SO CUTE!! CAN I KEEP HER?!" The human started dancing around. Webby got in her fighting stance and held up the knife. The two humans looked a bit shocked.
"What do you think I am, a pet?! I didn't come here to be enslaved." Webby growled. The human called Dipper held out his hand,
"um, I'm Dipper Pines, and this is my twin sister Mabel. We mean no harm, we were just comfused, ducks are normally shorter and don't speak english.." Webby lowered her stance but still gripped her knife.
"Where are you from?" Dipper asked, he seemed amazed by a talking human-sized duck. Webby shuffled a bit,
"that's non of your business." she stated, before asking,
"Do you two know where I might find an old shack?" Webby asked. The two siblings nodded,
"We're actually staying there for the summer with our grunkle Stan and Ford!!" Mabel replied, enthusiastically. Webby followed them as they lead her,
"Oh is it his house?" She asked,
"Not anymore, Grunkle Stan gave the shack to Soos last summer, we're all just staying there to visit each other during the summer." Dipper replied. As they approached the shack, Webby looked at it in confusion,
"Mystery Hack?" She asked.
"It's supposed to say Mystery Shack but the S fell off." Dipper replied.
"Why does it even say Mystery Shack?" Webby asked.
"Because our Grunkle Stan turned into a tourist trap to scoop up all the tourists and shove pointless merchandise in their faces along with wonky attractions!!" Mabel replied as she threw glitter into the air and started running ahead
"FIRST TO THE DOOR GETS 5 BUCKS!!" She yelled. Dipper started running to try and catch up with Mabel. Webby took out her grappling hook and used to to zoom to the door quicker than both of the twins. Dipper looked at her in shock. Mabel screamed
"GRAPPLING HOOK!!" and pulled out her grappling hook, launching it onto an anonymous board above as it pulled her into the air. Dipper sighed
"this girl better not be another Mabel" he said under his breath. Dippers looked over at Webby,
"Hey, what's your name anyways?" He asked. Webby looked over
"Webby Vanderquack" she replied simply. Then, Mable rolled to the groung laughing hysterically. "What's so funny..?" Webby asked, confused. Mabel choked,
"Y-You're a living pun!!" She laughed. Dipper looked at Webby with a look that read 'I'm sorry'.Just then, the door burst open as a tall figure emerged.
