Chapter 7

We all take our seats as Mr. Kane starts his lesson. During the middle of class some idiot asked how you would calculate life. Now Mr. Kane was talking about how that's our next project.

"I will give you each a partner and you will determine how long they will live then present it in class tomorrow. Partners will be at random."

I hope I get someone I know. I hope maybe Raven. When I looked at the paper I see Lexas name and turn to see her smirking at me.

"So Clarky wanna meet at your house or mind?" She said with a smirk playing on her perfect mouth.

My mom won't want to see her so it's best to be at hers. "Does yours work?!" I ask looking into those deadly eyes.

"Of course. As long as your good with big dogs and younger brothers."

My face lights up. I love kids! The bell rings and we walk out of the room and I feel someone grab me. Lexa is about to really hurt whoever touched me.

I turn to see Raven. "You lovebirds left me!! I got Finn Collins for the fricken project! Who are you guys stuck with"

Lexa smiles then said "see ya later Clarky. Bye Rayes." Then she turns and leaves.

"You got each other didn't you."

I smile a goofy smile.

"I will smack that love sick smile off of you." She said as we walk to our next class.
