Chapter 13

After dinner we head up to Lexa's room which is a nice sized room. (A/N: I just realized I didn't explain what her room looked like. My bad.) The room was covered in posters. Metallica, Panic! At the Disco, LED Zeppelin, Journey, Pink Floyd, any old rock music you can think of her room is littered with its poster. You can't even see the walls. In the corner is a drum section with a set of quads on a stand and a drum set. Her bed is in the other corner and there is a dresser with a mirror across from the bed. There is a beanbag in one corner with a tiny bookshelf that has too many books for a bookshelf it's size and a acoustic guitar on a stand. I loved her old school rock room.

"So the project. How long do you think I'll live?" Lexa asked as she sits on the beanbag.

I look at her and smirk. "Between the scary rides and the heavy instrument that you carry on your shoulders. Plus the loudness of that drum-set that probably is hurting your ears, I say you live till your 30's then you will do something stupid and die." Lexa just drops her jaw in fake shock.

"What if I die for a noble cause?" She said back.

I raise my eye brow and cross my arms "and what cause might that be?"

She smirks and stands up walking over really close to me. "Taking a bullet for you."

"Well if your willing to take a bullet for someone you barely know let's make it till your your late 20's." I say sarcastically and she laughs.

"Well. Why don't you stay the night. My mom won't mind and it's already 9:30." She ask while I look at my watch.

"Ya I guess I'll stay but I don't have any clothes."

"Well we can throw your jeans in the washer and dryer cause I'm too tall for you to fit in mine." She winks and I stick my tongue out at her. "Then I can let you barrow one of my shirts and boom you have an clothes for tomorrow." I like this plan. Getting to have one of her shirts. I would love that. I'm in.

"Ok Lex. I'll call my mom."

She smirks. "Lex? I like it." I blush as she grabs my clothes and runs down stairs.

Ok now for calling my mom. I turn on my phone and press call. She answers after the third ring. "Hey sweetie where are you?"

"Hey mom I'm at a friends house! You mind if I stay the night I have extra clothes and everything."

"Is this friends house Lexa's house. Honey you can't stay at a lesbians house that could be dangerous and inappropriate."

"No. No mom it's my friend Ravens house."

"Ok can I speak to Raven." Really she wants to speak to Raven! At that moment Lexa walks back in the room. I realize that my mom doesn't really know Lex's voice.

"Hey Raven. My mom wants to talk to you." She looks confused for two seconds but then understands and takes the phone. Her voice shifts a little when she answers and she does her best Raven impersonation.

"Heyyyy Mama G! Wassup!" She said. And I could barely hold in my laugh.

"Hey Raven. Make sure my daughter gets to school on time. Thank you."

"Yes Ma'am! She will be at school an hour early cause I got band practice too!" She looks at me and smirks. My jaw drops. Really I have to wake up earlier than 6!

"Ok bye Raven."

"Bye Mama G!" Lexa hangs up the phone and starts laughing. Then she stops. "Wait why didn't she know your at my house."

"Well you see she doesn't like you all that much."

"Ok that's reasonable. I'm telling Raven."

Before I could say no she sent something to the group chat.

Lexa🥁 - Raven Clarke used you so she could stay at my house

Raven😉- CLARKIE!! Whatcha planning on doing while at "my house"

Octavia😙- Clarkeeeeeee! Lying to be with your girlfriend!!

Clarke🦝- WHAT NO STOP NOT GIRLFRIEND.

I look up at Lexa and throw a pillow at her. She just laugh.

Luna💧- So Lexa where do you think your going to bring good ol'Clarke on a first date.

Lexa🥁- now that would be no fun if I just told you now would it.

I blush.

Lexa🥁- she is blushing rn

Octavia😙- SO CUTEEEE

Clarke🦝- REALLY LEX STOP!!

Harper😈- no you didn't.

Clarke🦝- I'm going to sleep.

"Really Lexa! You broke Raven!" She is just laughing.

"What!? It was an honest question!" She said smirking.

"Only when you wear the helmet." I smirk and get under the covers. She gets in the bed next to me and lays on her side. My back is to her.

"Ok I have an extra helmet and I promise that I will wear it if we cuddle." She said I can feel the smirk.

I turn to face her. "Deal." At that she wraps her arms around me and holds me close.

"Good night Clarkie."

"Night Lex."

That night was the best sleep I have had sense my father died.
