Chapter 65

Lexa's POV (this is taking place before the second gun shot)
He has the gun up to my throat and is extremely close to me.

"Listen little girl this is a matter for me and your father so if you don't want to die then you better shut your mouth." He says putting the gun on my throat making it hard to breath.

"You should close your mouth, nasty breath." I say and he growls. I hit his arm away from me and the gun flies out of his hand. "Run!!" I yell to Henry and he grabs Anya and bolts. I walk up to the man and punch him in the gut. He hits me in the rib and I lose air while getting knocked back on the floor. I feel something pierce the side of my torso. I reach for the gun that was right next to me. I point it at him and shoot. I hear him yell as he drops something on my head.

I black out.

I open my eyes to cops pulling Luna away from me. "Lun!" I try to say but nothing comes out.

"She is still alive!" I hear a medic say running to me and checking my pulse.

"C-" I try to say but my head hurts. I look around and I see that the man dropped a vase on my head. I feel blood on my face and all around me.

"You are alright sweetheart... you'll be okay." A girl medic says will bandaging my head and a male doctor ripped my shirt open to see a cut on the side.

"I don't care about me. Save them." I say trying to breath.

"Everyone is safe." The woman says as they pick me up and put me on a stretcher.

"Aden?" I ask. And the woman looks at me confused. I try and get out of the stretcher but two men lightly push me back down. "In my room. Second to the left. Aden and Clarke. Tell them Lexa sent you." I say and I pass out again from the pain and lose of blood.

Clarke's POV

I hear people running up the stairs and open Lexa's door. "Clarke? Clarke is that your name? Lexa sent us!" I hear a man say and I open the door slowly to see a medic with a police man looking around.

"Right here!" I say opening the door wide and getting Aden out of the pile of clothes. "Where is Lexa?!" I ask with fear in my eyes. I have Aden up on my hip.

"She is the brunette? With green eyes?" The medic asked while checking both Aden and I got marks or anything.

"I- yes she is!" I say looking around.

"Yes ma'am she is going to the hospital right now." He says then he leads me down stairs. I can smell blood as I walk past the bedroom. I come outside and see red and blue lights flashing. I see a ambulance truck rush out of the neighborhood.

Luna runs up to me and checks Aden out. Then looks at me and makes sure I'm okay. "Clarke are you okay did the shooter hurt you." I shook my head no and handed Aden over to her.

Police questioned us for what seemed like hours. The police asked us to pack bags. A police woman walked into Lexa and my room while I packed. I grabs school clothes for me, weekend clothes, pj shorts for me and then packed Lexa's clothes. I grabbed her workout clothes and we'll... that's really it. She had her school skinny jeans and flannels plus her favorite vest but the rest is all workout stuff.

I grab bathroom essentials and Lexa converse then walk out of the house with the bags. I put everything in Lexa's Jeep. Everyone packs things in Lexa's Jeep. Anya drives the Jeep, Henry drives Luna's car, Randy drives Henry's car and Luna rides Lexa's motorcycle. I am in the car with Randy when we make it to this small house.

Bongo was in the car with us. I take his leash and get out of the car. We all walk into the house and there are four small rooms with only a dressers and a small bed in each of them. There was a small kitchen in the center of the house and a living room plus one bathroom.

I put Lexa's and my bags down in our new room in this small rental. Aden is automatically put to bed. Luna calls Raven straight away. Randy helps Anya and Henry into their room. I sit on the bed biting my lip. A tear falls down my face. Luna pops her head into my room.

"Hey you ready?" She asks putting her phone in her back pocket.

"For?" I ask wiping off the escape (escape auto corrected to rascals, just saying) tears.

"We are going to see Lexa at the hospital, O and Rae will be there too." I jump up and we walk to the door.

Henry steps in front of us. "It's not safe. You should stay here."

"Was it Marco?" Luna says stepping closer to Henry. Henry freezes and says nothing. "You discussed me." Luna says, pushing Henry out of the way.

We walk out and Randy stops us.

"Out of my way Randy!" Luna tells.

"No luna it's not safe for you to drive. Let me." He says and he opens his car door. Luna nods and pats his shoulder and we get in. "Driving while angry or sad is dangerous." He says as he starts driving us to the hospital.

It feels like years before we reach the hospital. I jump out of the car with Luna and we run into the hospital and I see the doctor that worked on Aden.

"The Woods family! You guys shouldn't be back for another week for check up. What's up?" The doctor says with worry in his eyes.

"Lexa is here and we want to see her." Luna said and the doctor nods.

"Follow me Ladies." He says as he reads a chart as he walks past a desk. We walk into a room and Lexa is sleeping on a bed. When we walk in Lexa's eyes shoot open. She turns her head and looks at me.

"Clarke!" She says with a weak voice. I run over to her side and take her hand.

"I'm here too." Luna says joking around but she has tears in her eyes.

"Come here idiot." Lexa says and Luna walks over to her other side and holds her other hand. "It was Marco."

Luna shakes her head with anger. "He said he was done." I don't question anything right now.

"Did he shoot you?" I ask and I check her chart reading everything. My heart stops when I see a name.

The doctor that helped her.

The person that saved her life.
