Chapter 56

Henry and I make it back to the house. I ordered food to be delivered at the house for Luna. I go inside and pet Bongo on the head. I throw a paper ball at Luna who is watching a movie with Raven on the couch. I walk into the kitchen and see my mom making coffee and Aden and Clarke sitting at the table. Aden is talking her ear off about something he did at school. I smile.

I walk over to my mom and pour myself a cup. I walk over to Aden and Clarke. Her eyes light up when she sees me. She smiles. She has that gleam in her eye that I love so much. I never want to loose it. Ever.

"Hi Lexa." Aden says and then he continues talking to Clarke. I kiss him on the head and then lean over and kiss Clarke lightly. "Ewww germs!" He says and I chuckle.

"You are so right. Lexa is full of germs." Clarke says and she whips her lips with her sleeve then makes a funny face that Aden laughs at.

"Hey now." I say ruffling Aden's hair. He laughs harder.

"Hey guys why don't we all go into the pool today. Henry says as he comes into the kitchen.

"That's a great idea!" Anya says as she puts her arm around him. He kisses her on the head. I nod at him and he smiles.

"Sounds fun to me." Clarke says as she stands up from the table. She gets onto her toes and kisses my check. I smile. Henry nods at me.

We go upstairs to get changed. As soon as I closed the door Clarke grabbed my hands and sat me on the bed. She sat next to me and looked at me like I held all the answers.

"So?" She asks.

"So what?"

She rolls her eyes. "What do you mean 'so what?'? How did the thing with Henry go?!" She asks throwing her hands up. I laugh at her. She has me weak.

"He asked me if I was ok with him marrying into my family. I told him not to hurt my family. I put him in his spot. And I told him that if he even breathes in your general direction wrong I will kill him then bring him back to life , burn him alive, then bring him back to life and throw him off of a plane into a volcano. So ya." I end looking down at my fingers all of a sudden getting nervous under her gaze. She laughs and pulls my head into her. I bury my head in her neck and breathe in.

"How is that even possible." She asks laughing.

"Imma Bonny Bennet him and bring him back to life a million times." I say and she snorts. I love that snort. I hug her closer to me so that she can't get away. She puts her leg around my hip. I put my hand on her thigh as she hugs me closer. We lay there like that for a few minutes till I get a text. Clarke picks it up.

Annoying Leach💧- stop making out with Clark and come into the pool

Lexa🥁- you spelled my name wrong

Annoying Leach💧- autocorrect.

Lexa🥁- sure.

Clarke's POV

I laugh and untangle myself from my lover. She groans and gets up. I got my bathing suit and went to change in the bathroom. I go back into the bedroom and Lexa has her bathing suit on and she is tuning her drum set. She turns and smiles at me. I see her eyes travel down. I walk up to her and pull her head up to make eye contact. She smirks and I blush. She leans into kiss me but I back away and walk out the door.

I walk out to the pool and Aden is swimming around. I see Raven and Luna sitting in the hot tube by the side. Luna's hand rests on Ravens leg. Its hard to see but I know it's there. Luna isn't out yet.

Anya and Henry are talking while floating in the pool. I smile at this family. I feel my feet get lifted off the floor. I feel Lexa's arms wrap around me. "Lexa no no no no." I say while she jumps in the pool. The water hits me and it feels nice. We come to the surface and she runs her hand through her hair. I frown at her. She laughs and puts her hands on my hips. She pulls me in closer to her. I wrap my arms around her neck. Her eyes travel down from my body.

"Lex." I whisper.

"Mhm?" She says back. Sill not making eye contact.

"Lex my eyes are up here babe..." I say as I kiss her head.

"Ya but your heart is down here." She says and she looks back up and smirks. My jaw drops.

"That was good." I say and lightly kiss her. She laughs.

"Love birds come join us." Luna calls and I unlatch myself from Lexa. I get out of the pool and go into the hot tub. Lexa follows after me.

Lexa wraps her arm around me and I cuddle into her. Raven frowns and looks down at Luna's hand that's still on her lap. Luna looks at Raven and frowns.

"Lun. He is fine with it. Anya would be fine with it too." Lexa says looking sad too.

"I don't know Lex. I. I just." Luna looks up with eyes of sadness. "I don't want to ruin things."

"Well things are even good so how could you ruin it." Raven says as she walks out of the hot tube and goes inside.

Luna's jaw drops. "I-I."

"Go!" Lexa says throwing her hands up.

Luna nods and runs after her.

Luna's POV (dont mind me just adding some sea mechanic)

I run after Raven. I hate to see her hurt. I run in the house and up to my room. Raven is sitting on the bed crying.

"Rae. I-" I start but am cut off.

"I'm sorry. Lun. I'm so sorry. I don't want you to be pressured to come out. I'm just so tired of not being able to hug you or kiss you or hold your hand in public! Luna I want to be about to be your girlfriend for real! But I can't."

I nod. I walk over and sit next to her. "I'm sorry I hurt you Raven. Im just scared. I'm not strong like Lexa. I can't do what she does and just stand up to him. He scares me. Not because he could hurt me but because he could hurt you. I know I'm being stupid. Clarke and Lexa are fine. It's just. I'm scared Rae. I'm scared." I say with water in my eyes.

She takes my head in her hands. "Luna. You mean the world to me. I don't want to rush you into this. I- I love you..." she say as she lightly kisses me. I hear those words for the first time and it's amazing. Raven has had so much trouble with trust. She has been abused and hurt by the people she loved.

"I love you too." I say back. I kiss her again then get up. "Go down stair. Get back in the hot tub. Trust me." I say and smile. She smiles at me and wipes her eyes. She head back down stairs with me and I walk over to my mother and father. "Uh. Hey. Can I talk to you guys inside." They nod and get up.

"Lex watch Aden." Lexa gives her a thumbs up. Lexa looks at me and tilts her head. I nod. She nods back. She taps her shoulder twice. We made that up when we were 8. It's something we do to each other to say 'you got this' or 'I believe in you'. It's like our own language. I smile at her and she smile back.

I walk in the house and sit on the couch with my parents. "So um mom, uh dad." I pause. "I- th- I don't know how to say this. Raven isn't only my bestfriend but she is my girlfriend. She means the world to me. And- I'm in love with her. It's been a really hard patch because we have had to dance around our relationship because I wasn't out yet. So. Ya." I look up and see my mom smiling at me with the kindest eyes. My father is just looking at me with no emotion in his eyes. He nods.

"Thank you for telling us sweetheart." My mom says and my father nods again.

He clears his throat. "Luna. I- thank you for telling us." He says and we all nod and walk back out. I went up to Raven and pull her in for a kiss. She was shocked at first but melted into the kiss. I hear Lexa cheer.

"Finally!" She yells and I kiss her again. The kiss felt amazing. It was like it was the first time. It was amazing. Talking to my parents was the best choice I could have ever made.

Standing there kissing her, I couldn't be happier.
