Chapter 60

Clarke's POV

Lexa is bouncing on the pad of her feet. The doctor is leading us to Aden's room. He is awake now and is demanding to see Lexa. The door open and Aden is laying in a hospital bed. Lexa runs over to the bed and knees down next to it.

"LEXA!! My tommy hurts!" Aden said with a frown. Lexa cups his face with her hand. She has tears threatening to come out and show themselves.

"I know. I know buddy." Lexa is holding his hand.

"Oh and the doctor gave me a sticker!" Aden says pointing in the sticker on his shirt. "They said that you preformed for the hospital with your big drum!"

"When we get home buddy. I'll play for you. Anytime you want. I'll do it." Lexa says smiling at him.

Aden smiles and looks at me. "CLARKE!! Can I have a hug?!" He asks and I give him a hug. "Where is mommy?!" He asks looking around.

"I'm right here baby!! I'm right here!" Anya says hugging him letting a tear roll down her eyes.

Henry puts a hand in Lexa's shoulder. Lexa nods and pats his shoulder.

We sit and talk to Aden for about 1 hour and he gets tired.

"Lexa could you come cuddle with me?" Aden asks. Lexa nods and gets in the hospital bed. Aden curls up in Lexa's arms. "The hospital kinda scares me." Aden whispers but everyone can hear it.

I pull up a chair in the room and take out my sketch book. Lexa and Aden fall asleep easily. I start my sketch.

I take a picture and send it to the group chat.

Clarke🦝-

Octavia😙- that's adorable!! Is he awake

Luna💧- ya they are sleeping

Harper😈- I love it. It's amazing!!

Lincoln🏋🏼‍♂️- can you draw me and o pls.

Clarke🦝- sure.

I grab my pencils and start to sketch. After about and hour and a half I send the picture.

Clarke🦝-

Lincoln🏋🏼‍♂️- that's my new wallpaper!!

Octavia😙- OH MY GOD I LOVE IT

Luna💧- ME AND RAE PLSSSS

I smile and start sketching again.

Clarke🦝-

Raven😉- wow... wow... wow...

Luna💧- that's amazing.

I look up and see Lexa wake up. She slips out of bed and makes her way over to me. "Hey." She whispers and takes my hand. We walk out into the lobby to talk to the doctor.

"Hey Doc, thank you for everything you have done. Aden means the world to me. I don't know what I would have done if he was gone." Lexa says shaking the doctors hand.

"Of course. Your father was very generous for giving the hospital a donation." The doctor says with a smile.

"Mhm. So generous." Lexa says putting her hands in her pockets. "When can I bring him home?" Lexa asks.

"Tonight." The doctor says handing Lexa a clip board. "Could you fill this out for me and then he is good to go when ever you would like." Lexa nods and gets to writing. I walk over and rub her back. When she is done she hands the clip board to a nurse and smiles at me.

"I should say goodbye to that kid with the drumsticks." Lexa says with a nod.

"That's sweet." I say kissing her cheek. She walks over to Luna and takes her practice pad.

"Hey that's mine!" Luna says.

"I know, I'll buy you another one." Lexa says as she walks up to a nurse and asks for the kids room. I follow.

We walk into the room and the kids eyes glow. "Hey Hayden!" Lexa says and she sits on the bed with him. "I got you this." Lexa says putting the practice pad down. The kids eyes glow.

"That's awesome! Thank you!!" Hayden said and he started to play on it. Lexa shows him where his hands go. Him and Lexa play for a little bit.

"Kid one day you are going to be the best drummer anyone has ever hear." Lexa said patting the kid on the head. "I'll be back. I will be here for my little brothers check up. Keep practicing." Lexa said and we leave.

She takes my hand and I grab the collar of her shirt. I kiss her hard. It wasn't innocent. "Clarke." We get interrupted. I push Lexa away from me and wipe my lip with my thumb. I see my mother standing there with her jaw dropped.

"Really Clarke. Not in public." My mother says while pushing past us. She pushes into Lexa's side where she got hit with the truck.

"Agh!" Lexa says holding her side and bending down at the waist.

"Really mom!" I say walking after her. She goes into the locker room. There are other doctors in there. "You are so homophobic that I had to leave my own house because you would hurt me! And then when my girlfriend wanted her hoodie back you hurt her! Then you almost let a man hurt her again!" I see all the doctors gathering around and listening. "And now you walk past her and hit her bruise were you know for a fact she was hit by a truck! Stop hurting my girlfriend!" I yell and walk out. I go over to Lexa who has a nurse trying to get her to take her shirt off so she can check the bruise.

"No. I'm not getting it checked." Lexa says.

"Ma'am you could be in danger." The nurse says.

"Lex. Let her." I say and Lexa sighed. We walk into a check up room and Lexa takes off her shirt. The nurse blushes a little. The nurse lightly touch's the bruises. Lexa clenches her jaw. The nurse blushes again when she touches the bruises around Lexa's abs.

"Okay. That's enough." Lexa moves away from the nurse and puts her shirt on. "I'm fine."

The nurse nods and blushes. "Yes. Yes you are." She mummers.

"Okay Lex lets go." I say grabbing Lexa's hand and dragging her out of the room. "That was my fault." I say and we go to Aden's room.

"Hey buddy it's time to go." Lexa says and she picks up Aden. "We are going home."

Lexa puts Aden to bed and comes and joins me in her bed. She lies down and sighs. I wrap my arms around her. She smiles at me. She looks so cute.

"Thank you for being mine." She says quietly.

"Thank you for making me yours." I say cuddling into her.

Home at last.
