Chapter 8

Lunch comes around and we are all sitting together and Lexa comes in late with a bloody lip and bloody nose.

I didn't know what I was doing until it was done. I was out of my seat and in front of Lexa in .2 seconds holding her face in my hands and looking at her nose and lip.

"What happened!" I said dragging her into the bathrooms getting a wet paper towel and started wiping the blood off lightly.

"You should see the other guy." She answers trying to move away but I step closer.

I look her fulling in the eyes and demanded "what. Happened. Who is the other guy. Was it the jock. Are you in trouble?" I was lightly wiping her lip.

"The other guy was a punk named Walter. One of Finns right hand mans. He was... saying somethings. I hit him he hit me. Twice. I took him down. He isn't on campus he left a little after. Then I went to a doctor." She smirks.

"No don't smirk!" I said moving to her nose and stepping a little closer on my tippy-toes cause she is soooo tall. "You got hurt. What did they say." I said really focused.

"Some stuff it's not important." She said clenching her jaw. I think I peed a little when she did that.

"Ok your good." I say going off of my tippy-toes realizing how close we are. She was just looking into my eyes. She was amazing.

Just then Raven, Octavia, Harper, Mya, Echo, Luna, and Indra come barging in and I back away, snapping out of my trans.

"Ohhhhh wow. Nevermind. Lexa you seem fine. We'll go." Raven said winking at me.

They all back out and Luna gives Lexa a thumbs up and Lexa just scratched the back of her neck.

"We should go to class." I said walking out and Lexa grabbed my wrist and turned me around.

We were face to face again. "Thank you princess." She said then moves out the bathroom. What a tease.

It's after school and I meet Lexa in the student parking lot.

"Hey there Clarky." Lexa said with a smile. She took off her jacket and put it on me.

"Thank you. But do you have another helmet?" I say gladly taking the jacket that smells so good and keeps me so warm.

"Why. Was it not comfortable?" She said with her brows crushed together. I laugh at how cute she is and she just looks at me confused.

"No it fits perfectly. You just don't have one and I don't want you to get hurt." I say starting to sweat in her big on me jacket.

Now she is laughing. "I never wear a helmet! I'll be fine! Get on or ill carry you on my shoulders to my house."

I put my feet together and cross my arms. She has to be safe too. Just then she walks over crouch's down and lifts me over he shoulders almost too easily.

"AGHHH! What?! LEX PUT ME DOWN!" I say holding on to her for my dear life.

"Nope not until you agree to getting in the bike. I'll carry you." She said not breaking a sweat.

"Fine fine!! I'll go on the stupid bike." She stops but doesn't let me go.

"And you'll wear the helmet."

"And I'll wear the helmet!" She nods and lets me down softly. "Thank you." We were standing as close as we were in the bathroom. My turn to tease.

I lean in to kiss her and I felt a slight brush if her lips and stop. "Only when you wear the helmet." When I spoke I felt her lips. They were so close. Then I backed away and got on the bike.

Lexa just stands there for five seconds. Then gets on the bike. "You'll regret that Griffin."

"No regerts." I answer putting my arms around her. She laughs and we take off.
