Deeper than I thought

They think they are strong
You thought so too

I was weak
One look and I can say
That the animal is finding its way
To the light, to me
And I'm frightened
I know I can't run from you
So I just stay
And let you eat me
The way you always did
You tasted me like I was food
But you never finished it
Always let me wonder
Opened, unfinished, unable to move
I want you to never exist
Though I know I can't blame you
I would have been broken too
But you made the hole deeper
And I can't climb that part
It is written in my bones
You limited me
And the only way to get rid of it
Is to analyze it
And eventually
I will have to forgive you
