Around the same time, on another part of the beach, Kiba, in his search, listlessly overturned a small rock with his foot. "Natalya, are you there?" That was fruitless, as expected.

"Do you think she fell down a sink hole...?" Kiba threw his question at Shino. With no reply from his teammate, Kiba decided to look up from his search only to find that his buggy teammate was gone.

"Welp." Kiba released a gust of air and contemplated whether he should catch up with him or just keep searching in this direction.

(At this point I wonder if she went home on her own or something.) Kiba scratched his short brown hair. Clueless as to what else he could do, Kiba went back to a familiar place, the beach where they were all at earlier. (Maybe she went back here...)

Kiba jumped out of the bushes and onto the beach just as Shikamaru went to take a nap under a tree. The two made eye contact. Shika already sensed the end of his peaceful time begin at Kiba's arrival.

"Shikamaru? It's you! Did you find Natalya?"

Giving off a huge yawn, the Nara boy answered, "Uh, yeah."

Kiba looked up and down the empty shoreline before saying, "And? Where is she then?" He then fixed his animalistic gaze on Shikamaru who jerked his thumb toward the trees.

"Basically you found her and you lost her. Idiot." Despite what the shadow wielder says Kiba wouldn't be reassured until he saw for himself though, "Get up, we're going."

Shikamaru hesitated to answer, he'd foresaw this being a possible outcome, "Relax, she went with Gaara on her own accord."

Kiba spoke dryly, "Don't care. I don't trust the guy."

Shika quirked a brow at Kiba's stubbornness, "The guy is leader of an entire village... If you don't trust him now you'll never trust him."

Kiba dismissed Shikamaru reasonings and grabbed the boy by the neck of his shirt, "I said I can't trust the guy. I don't wanna hear your glib. Let's go."

"What a draaag..." Literally a drag. Against his will Shikamaru was dragged along. That is until a pine cone on the beach floor jabbed him in the buns!

"Itai! Tch! I can walk on my own." The Nara boy sucked his teeth, shook off the rough Inuzuka's grip and stood to his feet and casually walked inland.

(I knew it was a bad idea to let her go...) 😑 Since he couldn't beat them Shikamaru would just join them, going along would be the lesser drag. (This makes no sense what so ever...) Shikamaru was on the verge of sighing the entire time.

Kiba shrugged and the two teenage ninjas reentered the Bahamian jungle and the beach was empty once more.

Not realising the coconut tree was going to be a hot spot soon, Choji opened a coconut and offered it to the young Kazekage, "Here is your drink, Gaara."

"Thank you." Gaara graciously accepted the drink as he was parched from today's explorations thus far. He silently sipped his first coconut drink.

"Now for yours, Na--" Choji and Gaara realized at that moment that it was only the two of them present.

Choji wondered out loud, "Where did she go--" He barely got the words out when several people came tumbling by.

From the right, Naomi, Hinata, Naruto and Akamaru appeared, completely out of breath.

Choji, with the finesse of a chef, chopped open coconuts for everyone since they looked like they needed it.

"Ah, my bey, Cho-Cho, the hook up man!" Naomi appreciated a drink after all this bush rumbling. She happily sips on coconut water, "Did you two see Natalya?"
