Boy you got my heartbeat running away

Beating like a drum and its coming your way

"Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass! He got that super bass" A male voice mumbles along with the song, tapping his fingers against the steering wheel in rhythm with the music. His finger freezes mid-beat.

Suddenly the car swerves nearly running off the side of the road before it swung back on course. "Hold up! What in the hell am I singing."

Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, bo-

The radio is shut off, cutting off the rest of the song.

"I've got to stop listening to public radio."

He says shaking his head and chuckling under his breath. He runs his fingers through his thick black hair before placing his hand back on the wheel. He continues his way down the highway at a leisurely pace.

"Hm?" He mumbles as he spotted someone, or more specifically a girl, come out of the bushes up ahead.

Her skin was white but with a light tan from being in the sun most of her life-sort of like a ginger root colour- and was covered in dirt. She had dark brown hair that looked black at first glance, which was covered in leaves and twigs.

He slowly pulls up beside her. "Hey there? You alright?" he asks leaning out his window to get a better look at the girl.

Startled she looks up at him her blue eyes shining like sapphire.

She releases a sigh glancing back into the forest watchfully before looking back at him with a small smile.

"Yeah I'm fine. Hey can you possibly give me I ride into town."

"Oh you need a ride aye? Well that ain't no way to hike! See, you got to show more leg." He says in a joking tone.

She gives him a mixture between a 'disapproving' and an 'annoyed' look. "Seriously can I just get a ride into town?" -_-

"Fine, fine. Hop in the other seat."

He orders, pointing to the open seat beside him. The girl sighs. 'Finally!' She quickly hops into the car.

"So... you from here?" He asks as soon as he was back on the road.

"Yeah." She asks simply shifting restlessly in her seat.

"I wonder have I ever seen you before..."

"It is a small island. Who knows, maybe you saw me in Maxwell's." She replies stiffly feeling every bit anxious.

"Relax! You look as tense as a board. Come on, mi 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLK300 Roadster es su 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLK300 Roadster." He say to relieve some of the tension, noticing the worried expression on the girls face.

She scoffs trying to hold back a giggle before shaking her head at the boy beside her. "Just keep your eyes on the road-oh my God!" The tan colour drained from her face leaving her pale and her blue eyes were wide as she stared out the window.
