I paused at the stairs, looked out the window and saw him standing there bored but ever slightly amused by my frenetic cousin. Somehow he sensed my eyes on him because he turned and looked past the window and straight at me. Caught off guard I forced a smile and waved. He smirked amused and waved back. When he turned back around I let out a winded noise. I guess that is the bitter-sweet part about being a fan-girl: they may never take your feelings seriously and you don't know whether you should either...

I slipped away, away from all the commotion, away from the unexpected guests and my cousin Naomi and back to my bedroom. I think I need a nap (=_=)

[~NATALYA'S/Usual POV~]

I forced myself to take a bath when I really, really wanted to slump onto my mattress and rest. But it was not conducive to skip it. I mightn't have looked it but I had been a little grimy from moving furniture and cleaning up 'the Akatsuki pad'. A quick, hard scrubbing and I was out and ready for resting!

(Conducive. New vocabulary word! Got it from a police officer! ^_^' He'd pulled us over....)

I yawned and padded over to my windows to pull the curtains together. They were partially closed but an annoying stream of sunlight was still making its way through. If I were to lie in my bed it would be a direct hit. The rings holding it up squeaked as I pulled the curtains wide apart for dramatics. I closed my eyes, humming in delight as the sun took me into its embrace and its ray's planted kisses on my hair and skin. I did this so many times, it was almost a habit— but I refuse to call it that, thank you very much! I was just... enjoying and basking in the wonderful sun 'cuz I could, yeah that was so it!

"You do that every time! One of these days you're going to become blonde."

The memory came as a shock to my weary nerves. Having him back in my thoughts now of all times?
