"Acaria Amnia Nile."

My name rolls sourly of his tongue. "Oh who are they? New lovers?" Alfred asks in a monotone voice has he glares at Luke and Aiden. "Friends." I answer holding my ground.

"So you'll befriend a vampire, but you wouldn't turn the man you once loved into one? Makes me question if you ever cared for me." How could he say that! I loved him with my all, I loved him so much that I didn't want to see him suffer as a vampire.

"I did, reason why I didn't want you to become a vampire." I growl at him, this isn't the Alfred I once knew; but I do hope that he's still in there.

"Ever since the day you left I wanted to hurt you in the way you hurt me, so I found a way to create daylight water." So he's the one who created it, just so he could hurt me..? I try my best to hold back the tears that threaten to leave my eyes. I can't show him any sort of weakness.

"Kill the human and vampire, I'll handle Acaria." Alfred orders, four of his men go after Luke and Aiden; I rush to protect them but I shoved harshly to the ground. "Alfred, don't do this..." I beg, so much for not wanting to show any weakness. "You don't actually care for them do you? I mean the human will die of old age, the vampire can't even be in the sunlight."

Stop it...

"Their going to die anyway, I'm just making it happen quicker."

He jokes as if it's all fun and games, but to me it isn't funny. I care for them, their good people. I promised myself I wouldn't let anymore good people die because of me.

"Don't worry Acaria! I can protect Aiden!" Luke tries to assure me, but how can he say that when he's being slashed, punched, bruised...it's all cause of me.

"WHY!!!" I scream at the top of my lungs, the power of my voice, it's emotion is enough to knock all of Alfred's men to the ground including himself. Aiden is okay but I also knocked down Luke. Aiden rushes to his aid, helping him up. Luke shakes it off and goes at it at the still weakened vampires, but Luke is still trembling from the impact of my voice. "Alfred, the day I left you left a mark on my heart, but the thought you were going to live a human life always gave me hope you lived happily." I tell him before picking him up by the collar of his shirt.

"If the Alfred I once loved so dearly is now gone, then I shouldn't have a reason to not put you in you're place." I warn him as I clench the collar of his shirt tightly. "Then hurt me Acaria, or do I still look like the man you once opened your heart too?" He's right, every time I look at him I see the man I once loved.

No, Acaria Luke and Aiden need you! You can't just to that to them! I close my eyes and throw Alfred across the ground making him tumble on the ground. I threw him hard enough to sprain something. I take this chance to help out Luke.

" Alan 'ana 'amsik bik." (Now I take hold of thee)

With those words I now have a hold of the four vampire hearts without having to even lay a finger. I ball my hand into a fist.

"Mitu alan!" (Now die)

Me balling my fist crushes their hearts, ultimately killing them. "Thanks-"

I cut Aiden off when I hug both him and Luke tightly. "I'm so glad the both of you are alright." I say happily, it soothes me to hear Aiden's heart beat; assuring me he is human and hopefully will always be. Once we break the hug Alfred along with the dead bodies are all gone. Logan pulls up to the school and I bid my goodbyes before hoping into the jeep.

Once we drive back to the place we're staying I almost immediately start examining the stone tablet to make sure everything's still readable. Luckily it is, also it seems to be in better shape than the rest of the tablets aside from the one Orion has. I swear if that idiot does anything bad to that tablet I will destroy him, maybe even give him to Alfred as a peace treaty.

My thoughts then go to Alfred. He knows I won't hurt him, I had to close my eyes in order to hurt for Pete's sake! I know he will take full advantage of that. He most likely will go after Aiden since he's a weak and human. The mere thought of Aiden getting hurt scares me. It probably would take Aiden getting hurt for me to actually lash out at Alfred.

Thunder storms start to grow roaring and thumping can be clearly heard from outside the rooms walls. I decide to go outside and relax, but still be sheltered from the rain.

I breathe in the air, though I don't breath I can still smell; the smell of a rainy day is the best. Sadly I soon realize this wasn't a planned thunder storm according to the weather report meaning...

"Shut you're whining Zeus!" I yell, the thunder soon settles. "I said stop you'tr whining, keep the storm going please." The storm then rages on again, but this time without the hint of Zeus's whining. I'd bet he pissed off Hera again and she walked out the door.

I head back inside, then hop in the shower. The hot water instantly relaxes my tense muscles that I didn't even know were tense in the first place. I hum as I fell all my worries of the day go down the drain with the water. Once done I hop out, steam still coming off my skin. I change into some comfortable close for the evening.

"Laura, are you hiding anything from me; about the Acaria case that is." I look behind me only to see a very stressed out Logan. "What may have given you that impression?" I ask a question back wondering what made his mind think that way. "You can decipher hieroglyphics faster than anyone else I know; reading hieroglyphics is to you as reading English is to me." Logan comments which is quite the known fact to me.

"Then how is it that you haven't deciphered those stone tablets yet? Matter a fact those tablets are in better shape then anything else that has been found in Acaria's palace." I should of just had stayed over at Aiden's. "Because what it does say doesn't make sense." I inform him, I'm not half wrong; it takes one who understands magic well to understand what those tablets say. "So I feel as if there's a small error on my part." I tell him as I face out the window, watching as the rain is being carried away by the strong winds.

"Is that why you need the last tablet." A very annoying voice chimes in. When I look back behind me again I notice everyone is here aside from Ron, but Orion is also here. "Yes, maybe it would make sense of the other's." I reply, not wanting to spend another ounce of energy arguing with this guy. "Once I have all the pieces I plan on heading back to the temple near Acaria's palace; those tablets may unlock something we have yet to discover." I state my business with wanting the tablets, of course I lied though. There was some truth in my lie.

"We've tried everything, there's no way to enter that temple." Don comments on the subject; of course they can't get in, it's locked by magic. The only one able to get in is me. "If you do know, then I'll let you use this tablet." Before I can say another word Orion speaks again, "but that means you're going to take me." Orion state firmly as he holds the tablet closer to him.

It's a risk but I guess I can knock him out so he doesn't see anything. I did say I would do anything to have that stone tablet to save my people, and I'm not going back on my word now.

"You have yourself a deal Orion, but it's only me and you."

"I don't trust that."

"I'll bring someone else but it won't be anyone from my team, but the least a friend." Orion is quiet before nodding his head in agreement. "Nice doing business with ya." Orion says before he's out the door.

"When are you going to head over there, Laura?" Ace asks, "probably in the summer time, I have three months til then so I should be good." So in those three months I'll have to take care of my newly found problem.

Alfred.
