I use my power to rebuild the city that was once lost. I made sure a home was build for every family and person, I made the sand become dirt for farming. Luke trained for days endlessly to become a general, I've got to say he looked skinny compared to how he looks now. Jamal was able to teach both Luke and Aiden common manners and our language, I would also teach Aiden to life of a person my status which has become his own. Out of everyone, one lady seems to be different from the others. She seems to have become immortal.
It also just so happens to be the same woman who helped deliver me into this world.
Luke is officially a general, and had trained willing men to be in the night forces, he made sure they were fully aware of what would happen if they passed training. Luke is also famous among both the ladies and the soldiers that serve under him.
I'm currently in my room listening to Jamal rant.
"Your majesty! You love him and have spent all this time to teach him the way of the royals! Why don't you two marry." The talk of marriage startles me. I always believed that I would never marry since I was immortal. But one of these days I my body will become unstable due to the power it holds. I never sleep which causes my body to slowly weaken as the centuries pass by. I could sleep like Akazail did, but the world would do into ultimate disaster if that happened. I am the one who holds the stick to balance the both sides, and without that stick the balance would be lost.
"Sorry to cut the conversation short, Jamal, but I have a dinner with Aiden to attend to." I say with a little bit of glee playing in my voice. While I was working to repair the city Aiden had rearranged a dinner for the both of us to relax, though I cannot eat human food the chefs informed me that he came up with something creative.
I walk to the pillars next to the pool that leads to the temple. The pillars are white with golden patterns painted on them; there, Aiden is waiting for me his cheeks rosy red. The table is set with lavish looking food, but what catches me is the other smell coming off of the food.
I take seat which seems to snap Aiden out of his trance.
"Thank you, Aiden." I tell him with a grateful look on my face. "Go ahead, eat it." Aiden urges as he smiles, obviously hiding something. I lift my fork and take a bit into the freshly cooked chicken. I realize what I had been smelling, Aiden had the chicken marinated in Luke's blood so it would taste good.
"Aiden you genius." I comment after I swallow my bite. Aiden then gets up from his seat as I continue eating. He gets down on one knee then opens a box with a beautiful ring inside. Jamal you knew about this didn't you! I mental tell myself. I swallow my bite as I wait for Aiden to speak. The ring is made of gold with a beautiful diamond in the middle. In dented in the inside of the ring it says 'I shall love the woman who wears this finger for all of eternity'.
"Acaria, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Aiden manages to muster out, his muscles are tense as he anticipates my answer.
"Yes."
I answer. Aiden jumps up and wraps his arms around me, I instantly feel his muscles relax as he hugs me. He pulls out of the hug and places the ring on my ring finger. He leans in to kiss me...
"Wow sexy time tonight!"
A very obnoxious Luke interrupts. Aiden is startled and pulls away. I'm going to kill Luke.
The next couple of months are spent on arranging the wedding for I and Aiden. No doubt this dress shall be my favorite one of all. It's all white and covers my entire body except my shoulders. The sleeves of the dress are long, loose, and frilly. In my hands are ancient flowers that can only grow her due to my power. They are white with purple tips. With these flowers you can create any medicine to heal, helping one live longer; reason as to why this flower is usually used in weddings. It represents a love that will live long. I walk along the red carpet the leads up to the palace entrance, this shows that if a woman truly loves her lover, she'll climb painfully long steps to reach her lover, and the lover must wait painfully for her.
This is a way to show commitment.
Once I make it to the top I'm faced with Aiden. His outfit shows more skin than mine. He as a large golden ring loosely around his neck, resting on his collar bone. A skirt with golden plates, and shoes with a spiral that goes all the way up to his mid-shin.
"One last test before the marriage is final." The priest says as he holds out a blade on a white towel. We must cut one of our hands and make a blood bond. Aiden takes the blade first, holding back his wince as he cuts the palm of his hand, he then hands me the blade. I do the same, then we press our palms together making our blood mix.
"You are now queen and Pharaoh." Jamal announces as she takes the blade away, cleaning it off before locking it back in it's box.
Aiden then kisses me, holding my head in place with his soft hand.
Everyone cheers as we finalize our marriage. We pull away and wave to the people.
Now the festival begins. The festival is to celebrate the marriage of me and Aiden. We walk down the stairs and head to the building where the festival will be held. On the patio of the building will be me, and those I and Aiden hold dearest to our hearts. People light torches and begin dancing, eating, and drinking as much as they please. On the patio is Luke, General Nariin, Akamail, Alexander, Amid, Anubis, and Jamal.
I run up to Anubis hugging him tightly. "It has been so long since I've seen you old friend!" I cheer not having seen Anubis, my mentor, for so long. "I'm still in shock that you married, Acaria." He comments as he looks from me to Aiden. "He does not look much, but for you of all to love him, there must be more to him than what meets the eye." Anubis says, he isn't wrong. Aiden isn't the strongest in the bunch, but he is the strongest by heart.
Aiden grasps my hand, making me turn to face him. "I love you, Acaria." He whispers, pure undying love clear in his tone.
"I love you too, Aiden."
