"Acaria!"
My eyes burst open as I feel someone shaking my body. Then I realize I'm on hard stone, in front of the palace entrance. My body feels weak, and I cannot move from my current laying down position. I feel a warm liquid drop onto my cheek.
When I look to see where it's from, I see a crying Aiden right above me.
I didn't die.
I suddenly have a burst of energy and jump up onto my feet.
Please, please tell me it worked!
I cover my mouth with my hand as I gasp at the scene before me. Thousands of people are before the staircase of the palace. They bow down before me when they see me.
I did it...I brought them back.
"What was that!?" A very startled Orion asks as he looks around.
"There was this giant ball around you then it made a explosion like sound, and then all these people dressed in very, very, very old clothing appear!" Orion describes the events that happened when the spell had finished. "These are the people Acaria ruled over long ago..."
"My people." I say as I look towards Orion, a look of disbelief claims his features. Aiden comes up and hugs me from behind, tears still leaving his green orbs. I lay a palm on top of Aiden's hand in comfort.
"I am Acaria, reason as to why I know damn sure I never had kids or a lover." I hiss not caring about the language I just used. Orion has no proof to say I'm a liar, I quite literally proved myself I think not to long ago; based on the rising sun though, I think it may have been long ago. "Please don't speak of this, and return without us; say that I found a new calling." I instruct Orion, I walk over to the tablets, I pick them up then hand them to Orion.
"Have these and never speak of this place every again."
It takes time to convince Orion to leave and to not speak a word, but I manage. Once I know Orion is out of sight of this place I create a barrier to make this place invisible to the eye. Even if someone where to walk into the area they wouldn't be able to be in here, unless they find the spot where the entrance to the kingdom is.
"I have a question for the both of you." I turn to Luke and Aiden.
"Will you stay here with me or head back to you're old lives and never mention a word of this place to anyone?" I ask the two of them, ready to respect whatever they choose. They exchange glances at each other before looking at me.
"We'd like to stay here with you, Acaria." Luke answer for the both of them, sending my heart a flutter. "Then you must have duties if you are to live here." I say as I turn my back to them, not wanting to show the happiness that claims my features.
"Sure thing!" Luke says with excitement.
"Luke, you shall be my general of the night guards who are vampires." Luke fist bumps the air, excited about his new job. I can't just have them laying around doing nothing, yet receive luxury treatment. Aiden clenches his fists, probably hoping he won't get a job like Luke's. I have the perfect job for Aiden.
"Aiden, you are going to be my boyfriend." I say to him with a bright smile, he smiles as well.
"Um can we switch." Luke teases as he hugs his little brother. I smile at the two, happiness fills me as I know my people are revived. But then comes...
Thunder roars through the sky, bolts of lightning light up the sky. We have a angry Zeus.
I spend the night making shelters for everyone because their homes are gone. Luckily for me there were quite the number of guards alive. I motion towards one that I recognize.
"General Nariin." I call out to him, he walks over to me. He is the day general, his name actually means fiery. I've always had the day and night generals, but this time I would like the night general, Luke, and his men to be vampires. He bows down before me, before rising again. "Let your men rest for the night, and show the boy to his room." I request of him as I motion towards Aiden. "Luke, you will watch over the people tonight." I order him, he just nods and walks up to my side.
"Tomorrow I'll have General Nariin guide you into the life of a general." I inform him as I gaze my eyes upon my people, that are once again in my grasps. "From now on you must bow down to me before speaking, I'll have Jamal teach you our customs." I tell Luke; he has a long way before he will be able to become a full fledged general. I'll have to teach Aiden customs, due to the fact he will be treated as a royal. "I understand, you're majesty." He says making a small bow. I laugh at the jester.
"General Nariin!" I call out once I notice he has already delivered Aiden to his quarters for the night. "I will be gone for a while to Olympus, but I will bring alone some supplies for the people." I speak to him in our native language. That's also something Aiden and Luke must learn. Yes our language is close to Arabic, but there are large differences between the two. He nods in understanding.
"Please rest."
Is all I say before heading into the palace that could use a large clean up, reason as to why I didn't let the people stay in here. I head to my room. I open a secret door to a room were I keep soul replicas of the artifacts that the gods have. A soul replica is as it's name suggests, a replication of the artifacts each god must have, it contains their aura's. But these replicas are special, they allow me to choose a reincarnation when a god has died, because their power does not die.
The room also contains a portal to Olympus, one of two to be precised. I enter the portal.
I'm welcomed into a land of pure beauty, it is night but I can sense the gods having a meeting. Green grass and colorful plants line the pathways. Trees of white and red flowers can be seen near ponds. Large white pillars to hold up structures are everywhere, even in the estates of the gods. I make my way to the meeting room, where without a doubt Zeus is barking orders like a dog, but a dog does seem to be nicer than Zeus, I have met Cerberus after all.
As I walk in a cloud of silence flows over the room. "After three months you finally make it!" Zeus states loudly as he slams his fist on the polished oak wood desk that is in the center of the room. "I had more important business to attend to." I comment as I just stand by the door, not wanting to take my seat next to Zeus, especially when he's like this. "Sounds like personal business to me!" He growls, his veins can be seen on his neck showing just how angry he truly is.
"And this Hera matter sounds like you're personal business." I throw back at him, the only reason he is worried is cause she was his wife and sister. The thought causes shivers to go down my spine. I have to admit Zeus will sleep with any woman with a pretty face despite what type of relations he has with them. "Acaria, you keep track of us if there is any need for reincarnation; do mind telling us if there is a need for one on Hera's account?" Hades asks of me with a calm cool look on his features. I will never understand how those two are related. I recall the moment I was in the room with the soul replicas, Hera's was still glowing meaning she is still alive.
"Hera is alive, she probably is using trick to mask her smell." The more powerful a god the stronger their sense to sense other gods is. This is especially handy when they are trying to find a reincarnation. I could just tell them where the reincarnation is, but they need to rely on themselves. They maybe gods, but I cannot do everything for them.
"I will do my best to find her." But if this concerns Hera I must find her on my own, I need to know why she is doing this. She never tells anyone else other than me why, so it's only reasonable for me to find her.
Before Zeus can speak I lift my hand hushing him. "I will find her on my own." I state sternly, knowing that Zeus was going to insist he help. Zeus maybe selfish, but if it is to Hera I'm fine with it. Hera is a gentle heart with a strong will to make all others happy in her presence. "This meeting is over." I state as I leave the room. I grab some food and supplies for my people before I use the portal to head back to Egypt.
By the time I arrive back to Egypt it is already daylight. I have Luke and the guards pass out rations to everyone til we get situated. It may take years to rebuild everything, but I will help and only make it take a year.
