Reminisce
A small silhouette - dark against the blue sky
sat unmoving with its gaze upward.
(Waited till the darkness smudged out the light)
As the first star appeared,
two bright eyes shone with unshed tears.
(Silvery drops lay heavy over golden orbs)
Suddenly they were blinked dry
and the cat quietly walked away
....with the silence of a fading memory
