The Four Seasons
Rays of light flicker
the sunshine, warm and soothing
summer blooms slowly
Clouds, pregnant and full
A loud staccato spring beat
melody of spring
Twilight steals all hues
turns them brown, brittle, broken
fall knows of sorrow
I sit silently
casting whispers to the wind
my winter soul weeps
