To Do List - Rescue Sidekick

Resolute went to the lair and entered his pin

Stunned by what he found when he went in

The toaster oven was bright red and smoking

He looked inside and said, 'You must be joking!'

Villains had crept in and kidnapped LeBow

A well done message said where they would go

And if he didn't surrender his mandolin

His faithful sidekick would soon be done in

In a rage Rhymster plucked a quavering B-flat

'Surrender my mandolin! We'll see about that.'

Clues were plenty; they'd each signed their name

That's a thing about villains, they have no shame

But together they formed a formidable force

Nothing Resolute couldn't handle of course

When fighting crime, on Resolute you could depend

But it wouldn't be easy, it was near the weekend

Elemento threatened, controlling earth, wind and fire

For sea and sky the rates were higher

And then there was Muf-Sid the Mummifier,

Polly Lou Shawn & Writer's Block

Things were really looking dire

He met them at the designated site

And was greeted by a staggering sight

'We've gagged her mouth,' Resolute was told.

'No longer can she give a scold.'

On the groundElemento lit a fire

Summoned some wind to make it higher

Polly Lou Shawn filled the air with a toxic fume

While Muf-Sid chanted spells of ancient doom

Writer's Block's confusion power was more direct

But Resolute silenced him with Auto Correct

Then with a swirl of his cape he smothered the flame

Left Elemento coughing and Polly the same

Next he turned Muf-Sid's chants to a musical sound

Had him puzzled and dancing all 'round

Tore the gag away from Credenza's face

And both hero and sidekick fled apace
