A Thousand Miles
Making my way down pavement.
Head is aching,
Body's quaking
And I'm school bound.
Staring blankly ahead.
Making my way,
Making my way
Down to the bus stop.
And I need food.
And I need sleep.
And now I wonder...
If I could fall
And slip and die.
Do you think life
Would miss my eyes?
Cause you know,
I'd walk a Thousand Miles
If I could just skip school...
Today.
It's always times like these
When I think of work,
And wonder if I can just
Run and hide?
Cause everything's a mess,
And I'm so stressed!
Living in this world
Of chaos.
Cause I need food.
And I need sleep.
And now I wonder...
If I could fall
And slip and die.
Do you think life
Would miss my eyes?
Cause you know,
I'd walk a Thousand Miles
If I could just skip school...
Today.
I, I.. don't want I let you know.
I, I, drown in my self pity.
I, I, don't want to lose control.
I, I don't....
Making my way down pavement.
Head is aching,
Body's quaking
And I'm school bound.
Staring blankly ahead.
Making my way,
Making my way
Down to the bus stop.
And I need food.
And I need sleep.
And now I wonder...
If I could fall
And slip and die.
Do you think life
Would miss my eyes?
Cause you know,
I'd walk a Thousand Miles
If I could just skip school...
Oh! If I could fall
And slip and die.
Do you think life
Would miss my eyes?
Cause you know,
I'd walk a Thousand Miles
If I could just skip school...
If I could just ditch school...
Today.
