Funny mask and half hidden visage
As eyes go dancing page to page
Wrapped in blankets: quite an image
Few are left which read in this age
Where are they who yet persuade
to draw an audience far and broad
in words well woven and deftly laid?
An enthralling epic without pause
Gripping readers as sun sinks low
while each word reveals slowly now
an ending only the author knows
in a book we just cannot put down
