What If?

Hwall's POV

She shoved my hand away as I touched her hair. She walked away from me and didn't even bother to look back.

Why the hell did I do that?

Why the hell did I kiss her?

I closed my eyes tightly and scratched the back of my head, thinking about the stupidity I had just done. What's so bad about kissing her anyway? She's just a friend. Friends kiss each other on the cheek too.

Do they really?

I walked back towards the table we were all sitting in. Jaehan and Sunwoo were dancing wildly on the dance floor since the music playing was rock. Juyeon, Hyerin, Y/N, and I were the only ones left. I tried to look at Y/N but she avoided my eyes, her brows knitted together. Juyeon seems curious of what is happening since he kept looking at me, then back at Y/N, then at me, but I just shrugged at him.

Y/N was looking everywhere except at me.

"You okay?" I heard Hyerin asked and I just simply nodded at her.

When she talked to me, somehow, I didn't feel so nervous anymore. It's as if I'm already used to it.

It's as if I don't feel anything anymore.

Ani! Why would I say that? Of course I still feel something for her, I still like her.

Then why did I kiss Y/N?

As I have said earlier, friends kiss each other on the cheek. It's completely normal for me to do that.

"Yah, are you hungry? Wanna get food?" Hyerin suddenly asked me out of nowhere.

"Actually... yes." were the last words I said before standing up from my seat. I took one last glance at Y/N but she was talking to Juyeon so she didn't see me.

I still couldn't get over what happened earlier. Maybe she was just confused and really shocked that I did that. Maybe that's why she's acting like that. I can't blame her, anyway. I know she likes me and she knows that I like Hyerin, and the kiss probably made her confused.

I suddenly bumped on a taller guy in front of me.

"YAH WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING YOU-" Hyunjae stopped as soon as he saw me.

"Deer lorhd, Hwall, I almost wanted to kill you." He sighed but I just laughed.

"Mianhae, hyung, it's totally my fault." I told him.

"You seem so distracted. Where's your date?" He asked.

"HWALLLLL!" I heard Hyerin shout from somewhere.

"There she is. Bye hyung." I waved at Hyunjae and started walking towards the buffet station.

I entered the line and stood behind Hyerin.

"Good thing we decided to get food earlier." I spoke and Hyerin hummed in agreement.

I noticed her grab two plates which made me hesitated to get one.

"Why did you get two plates?" I asked her. She pointed her lips at somewhere and I turned to that direction. I saw Y/N on our table a while and she was all alone. I tried to look around, but I got no sight of Juyeon at all.

"Let me have the other plate, it might get heavy for you." I smiled at her.

"Oooohhh, what a gentleman. Okay, mister." She said as she gave me the other plate. I chuckled.
