My Stepsister is Mine [Completed]

Chapter 7

It was a quick, empty week for Celine. Tatlong araw ang wake ng mommy at ng stepfather niya. And then, they were buried today.

It was a rainy afternoon at nakaupo siya sa kama. Kakauwi lamang nila ni Atticus mula sa cemetery. She was quiet on the ride home, trying to make sense of all that has happened.

Atticus was standing across her, looking at her and trying to gauge her emotions. "Let me know kung nagugutom ka na. Magpapahanda ako kay Manang Celia ng hapunan mo."

Umiling siya. "No, thanks."

He sat down beside her and sighed. "I know it's hard. I know how you feel, Celine."

She looked at him. "I don't have anyone now..." At tumingin siya sa kawalan. There was now a void in her heart and she felt like a lost child.

"That's not true."

"Family, I mean." Umiling siya. "I have none..." She hugged her knees and stared back at a portrait of her on the wall. Nandoon iyon ng dumating siya sa kwartong iyon almost a week ago. "It all happened so fast..." At ngayon, mag-isa na lamang siya.

"Alam ko. I never knew this would happen..."

"What will happen to me now?" she barely whispered, talking to the air. Now that her mother is gone and so is her stepfather, hindi niya alam kung kukupkupin pa siya sa bahay na ito ng mga Alcaraz.

"I'm your legal guardian now," Atticus declared.

Mabilis siyang napatingin dito. "What?"

"I'm your brother in papers. My father adopted you before he died. So for sure, you're legally under my care now that he's gone," he answered.

"Brother?" tanong niya rito.

"You're only fifteen. Obviously, you're a kid in the eyes of the law. So you'll be under my care until you turn eighteen," he firmly said.

Natahimik siya sa sinabi nito. "So you'll be like... my kuya?"

He cringed at what she said. "Well... to put it simply, yes. But it doesn't have to be that way."

"You don't want to be my brother?"

Umiling siya. "No, it's not that!" He breathed deeply. "I... It's just that... Yes, I want to be your brother." He sighed. Mas magiging komplikado pa ang lahat kung magpapaliwanag siya na ayaw niyang maging kapatid o kuya lamang.

Nagulat si Celine sa sagot nito. But deep inside, she was really relieved. Natatakot siyang mag-isa ngayong wala na ang totoong ama at ina niya. She thought she could find a father in Leo but she actually just lost all her parents in total.

She climbed up his lap and hugged him. "Thank you... kuya."

Atticus was out of words. Nagulat siya sa ginawa ni Celine. Hindi niya alam kung paano itutulak si Celine palayo. Their position was terribly uncomfortable for him. She was just wearing a thin black blouse and a short black skirt dahil hinubad nito ang suot na jacket kanina sa burol ng mga magulang nila.

But she was hugging him firmly so he had no choice but to hug her back. He caressed her hair. Mabango pa rin iyon. Amoy bulaklak. Very calming to the senses.

"Can you sleep here tonight?" she asked when she let go of him. She was still on his lap pero they were now eye to eye.

Nagulat siya sa tanong nito.

"I don't know if I can sleep tonight...," sagot niya. Mabigat pa rin ang dibdib niya at pakiramdam niya ay magkakasakit siya. "Please..."

Tumango ito and pulled her closer. "Yes," he whispered. He was using all his self control to not pin her down on the bed and kiss her all over. Her lips were quivering kanina pa. Parang pinipigil nitong umiyak sa harapan niya. She looked so helpless that he just wanted to comfort her and assure her na walang mangyayaring masama sa kanya as long as she's with him.

She smiled, but it was very quick. "Thanks." And she kissed his right cheek. "You won't leave me, right?"

Umiling ito. "Never," he answered.

She touched his face.

And that was it. He decided to give up all self-control and kiss her right here, right now.

Nagulat si Celine sa ginawa ni Atticus but before she could react, he was already holding both her arms to stop her from resisting. And in the end, she decided to not fight him at all. His kisses were comforting.

It was trying to ease her pain and erase the sadness away. His hands working their way down her back felt so good. It made her forget about losing her parents, her mom specifically. She held on to his shoulders as his lips moved down her neck.

And he pulled her closer. "Can you feel what you're doing to me, babe?" he whispered to her ears. "You're driving me crazy with need..."

"Atticus..." she moaned when his right hand slipped inside her top.

"I'm here... You don't have to be sad anymore... I'll take care of you."

She moaned all the more when his hands found her right breast and fondled it. She was starting to feel something in between her thighs, a need.

He removed her top to reveal her breasts. And he looked like he just struck gold. "You're so beautiful," he whispered and sucked on her nipple.

"W-what are you doing?" she asked, almost out of breath.

"I want you now..." he answered back, looking into her eyes.

"But-"

"No buts now, Celine. You're under my care, and you will do whatever I want and need," he firmly said.

Napahawak na lamang siya sa ulo nito while he was hungrily ravishing her. She didn't find anything wrong with what they were doing. It just felt so natural... to do this with him. That's why she let him...

And he spent that night inside her room, making love to her multiple times.
