Seven members of an elite organisation and one seemingly innocent woman collide and the aftermath leaves them questioning if everything they knew was a lie.
"Hell no!" Cole grabbed her arm, eyes wide and filled with disbelief.
"I've already said yes to him." Y/N wasn't sure what made her want to say yes, she only met the guy today and yet felt the need to accompany him on his quest for freedom.
"I don't care, tell him you've changed your mind! Y/N are you crazy? I mean yeah, he seems harmless enough but you don't even know him! I mean what if something happens to you? What if he's some crazy serial killer, there's absolutely no chance I'm letting you leave with him. I would never forgive myself if something happened to you, why would you say yes to skipping work and spending the day with him?!" Cole shook his head, dumbfounded that his friend would be so reckless.
"I feel sorry for him, he looks so lost and sad."
Cole rolled his eyes, quickly glancing over at Jungkook who was waiting patiently by the entrance to Starbucks.
"Y/N that's a ridiculous reason to want to spend the day alone with him, just because he seems lost and sad doesn't mean he still couldn't be a serial killer."
"I know this sounds ridiculous but.....I trust him. I don't know why but something tells me that Jungkook wouldn't do anything to hurt me, if it'll make you happier I'll take him to the aquarium. I know you've got a friend who works there, you can get him to keep an eye on us and report back to you. That way Jungkook gets a fun day out and you feel better knowing I'm safe."
Cole was trying to stay mad at his best friend for making such a stupid decision but once she mentioned the aquarium he couldn't help but laugh.
"This poor guy wants a day of freedom and you're taking him to the aquarium."
Y/N furrowed her brow, a minute ago Cole was furious with her for wanting to help Jungkook and now he was laughing at her idea of taking him to the aquarium.
"What's wrong with the aquarium? I love fish, who doesn't love fish?" She felt herself getting defensive, Cole ruffled her hair affectionately and chuckled.
"You're adorable." He winked which only infuriated her.
"I thought you were angry with me, now you're laughing and making fun of me."
"I'll cover for you at work, make something up about a family emergency but you keep me updated on where you are at all times and the aquarium idea is cute, I'll call my friend and ask him to discreetly watch over you."
Y/N was satisfied with the arrangement, she understood why Cole was worried but she stuck by her gut feeling that Jungkook would never do anything to hurt her.
"Okay, you've got yourself a deal." The friends shook hands before heading to the entrance where Jungkook waited for them.
"Jungkook, you better take good care of my girl. I want her back safe and sound by the time my shift finishes or you suffer the consequences, we clear on this?"
Jungkook didn't seem intimidated by Cole which surprised her, guys usually ran in the opposite direction when her friend dished out warnings.
"Crystal clear, nothing will happen to her.....she's in safe hands."
Cole looked between the two, he really didn't like the idea of leaving her alone with Jungkook but Y/N was adamant that he could be trusted.
"Okay kids, go have fun."

"I'll be watching you Jungkook, don't make me regret this decision."
"Cole it's going to fine, trust me." Y/N approached her friend, reaching for his hand and giving it a squeeze.
"I'll text you, just trust me okay."
"I trust you, just keep me informed. Love you princess, be safe." Cole kissed her forehead.
"I will, see you later."
Y/N stepped back, watching with a smile as Cole headed back to the library.
"He really loves you." Jungkook approached her cautiously, he didn't want to do anything at this point to scare her.
"He's like family, always looking out for me. I'm sorry if he seemed a little intense but he's very protective over me, he didn't mean anything by it."
"Don't be sorry for that, he's just looking out for you. I understand that my request is slightly strange, not one you expect to be asked when you've only just met someone but my time here is.....limited and for one day I just want to experience what it's like to be normal and have a normal day out without requirements or restrictions. I probably sound crazy to you, it's just difficult for me to explain."
Y/N got the feeling this probably had something to do with his family, was he feeling caged at home?
"I don't have any right to ask you this but does this have anything to do with your family?"
"I guess you could say that, my family don't let me experience the world for myself. I feel like.....all my life they've told me how to behave and what to feel, they gave me this identity and never once asked if it's the one I wanted."
Y/N felt her heart ache for him, she couldn't imagine how that must feel.
"Jungkook have you ever been to an aquarium before?" Y/N decided to stop interrogating the poor guy about his family, he wanted to escape them for a day and she wanted to help him do that.
Jungkook chuckled and shook his head.
"I've never gone out before, unless it has something to do with helping out my family."
Y/N couldn't believe what she was hearing, her jaw dropped at the revelation.
"You've never gone out before? Like ever?"
Jungkook shook his head.
"I've picked up groceries and grabbed coffee but that's about it."
"Wow...okay....that's crazy. Stick with me Jungkook, you're about to have the best day ever." Y/N smiled, reaching out and lacing her fingers with his before pulling him through the crowded sidewalk.

Jungkook couldn't help but smile like an idiot as he allowed himself to be dragged through the crowd.
The young agent had no problem sticking with her, especially when she made him feel this happy, carefree.....human.
