Y/N meanders down the corridor, conversation with Namjoon still fresh in her mind as she heads back to the foyer in search of Jungkook.

The leader was certainly guarded, not wanting to give too much away or let her get too close and she understands his reluctance.

He's got a team to lead, six men who obviously mean a great deal to him and now their lives are in danger and he's the one who needs to step up and do something about it.

She can't even begin to imagine how that must feel, how heavy that responsibility must weigh on a person.

She actually feels sorry for the guy.

Yet she can't focus too much on that for now.

First she needs to speak with Jungkook.

Y/N finally reaches the entrance only to find the glass enclosed room on the second floor empty by the time she does.

Where the hell is everyone?

"I'm guessing you're looking for either Tae or Jungkook?" Jimin smirks as he makes his appearance, brow cocked playfully as he leans against the wall.

"I see you've stopped drinking?" Y/N retorts.

"Ouch, you wound me." Jimin chuckles as he brings a hand up to rest over his chest.

"I'm looking for Jungkook if you must know, do you know where he is?"

"Poor Tae, he'll be devastated you didn't pick him first."

"Look." Y/N rolls her eyes. "I understand you don't like me, but for now there's not much either of us can do about it. I'm still trying to wrap my head around what Namjoon just told me and even though I managed to get some sleep I'm still exhausted, so please cut me some slack and just tell me where I can find Jungkook."

Jimin's expression shifts, turns softer as he processes her words.

"Take the stairs to the second floor and keep going across the walkway until you reach two doors, take the one on the left."

Y/N gave a nod, forcing herself to be civil and smile at the agent.

"Thanks."

Jimin watches as she crosses the foyer, head lowered and eyes glued to her feet. It irked him that she seemed so adamant in putting distance between them, not that he could really blame her....he was the one who acted like a dick and insisted she make herself scarce once all this was over. It also bothered him as to why this woman seemed to have him acting out so aggressively, he was usually in total control yet around her that control was practically nonexistent.

Why?

What was it about her that unsettled him so much?

The agent watched as she climbed the stairs, didn't stop until he heard her cross the walkway and push open the door.

"Don't tell me she's suckered you in too?" Yoongi scoffed as he walked down the corridor leading from the living quarters to find Jimin staring after Y/N.

"Fuck off Yoongs, not in the mood."

The older agent cocked a brow at the younger, eyes narrowing in warning. "I don't think any of us are in the mood Jimin, these last few weeks have been debilitating to say the least but reign your neck in yeah? I don't deserve it and also don't have the patience, we clear?"

"Crystal." Jimin winced, pissing Yoongi off wasn't something he wanted to add to his list.

"You stink of booze too, don't have a fucking relapse now Minnie." Yoongi eyes softened.

"Don't give me that look, you said it yourself....these last few weeks have been tough."

"Yeah they have, but that doesn't mean you find your answers at the bottom of a bottle no matter how tempting it is or how it may help to keep the demons at bay." Yoongi tapped his index finger against his temple. "I know all of us are messed up in here, doesn't take a genius to work that one out but now more than ever before we need to be strong. I know Joon isn't telling us everything, the man is stubborn and refuses to burden us with too much but you and I both know this isn't just about the girl."

Jimin gives a nod, hands pushed deep in his pockets so he doesn't have to see that all too familiar shake to his fingers whenever he drinks. "I know it's not just about her, if anything the organisation is just using her as a smokescreen to what's really going on."

Yoongi gives a nod. "I think it's more about Jungkook, the way he's started to change."

The agents knew from the beginning that Jungkook was different, it was obvious in the way he conducted himself and also in how he looked physically. It's not everyday you meet someone with circuit boards for irises or blue blood running through their veins.

The organisation gave them the basics, informed the team that Jungkook was their latest creation in hybrid android technology.

He was the best of the best, completely flawless in design and only required regular doses of serum administered by Jin to keep him in prime condition.

It was difficult at first to acknowledge Jungkook's existence, especially when the rest of the world hadn't yet believed something like a hybrid android was possible but they couldn't really not especially now he was part of their team and they could see it for themselves.

Jungkook never spoke of his past and the others refused to pry, when the younger agent was ready he would talk.

The only information Jungkook gave them was that he didn't know what he was, not truly. He grew up
at the organisation labs, trained there too and never desired to know more....at least not at first.

Now he wanted to know.

Started acting differently.

Yoongi was convinced that Jungkook was the reason, it was only made more obvious when Namjoon informed them the team weren't just coming for the girl but for their youngest agent too.

"They say it's because he went AWOL but that's bullshit." Yoongi spat, venom coating his words. "They're not telling us something, Joon is keeping things from us too and it's about time he opened up and told us the fucking truth. I always had my suspicions the organisation was corrupt, that their self righteous bullshit of only taking jobs from good people to punish the bad was a smokescreen from the real agenda but told myself it didn't matter....that I didn't care because I was fucked up anyway. Then they messed up Minnie, they messed up the moment they decided to take Guk away."

Jimin was in total agreement, the moment the organisation decided to threaten their family was the very moment they fucked up.

Jungkook was different and at first difficult to connect with but over the years the youngest agent had blossomed, slowly learning what it meant to be human and if anything was to happen to him the other six would never forgive themselves. It didn't matter to Jimin that Jungkook was a hybrid, didn't matter that he had blue running through his veins instead of red.

He was family.

Jimin would do anything to protect  him.

((Chapter update one of a possible three today for Jagi! I went in a different direction with this, one I felt was needed. I wanted more interaction between the team, some inner dialogue. So what are your thoughts on the conversation between Jimin and Yoongi? 👀👀
Hope you guys enjoyed! Let me know your thoughts! Next chapter I'm working on now and is a conversation between Y/N and Jungkook. Love you guys! 💜💜💜))
