10. Part 1 (Outré)

In an alternate universe where our world was united into one big continent, a war broke out. Almost everyone who couldn't aid in the war evacuated underground.

Main pointview: Honoka

While I was with my friends(Umi & Kotori) patrolling the area, I saw a silver-haired girl who was strange. She was wearing some sort of flashy dress and some lengthy white boots. I only saw a glimpse of her so I thought I was only imagining things.

Kotori: What's wrong, Honoka-chan?

Honoka: Hmmm... Nothings wrong, Kotori-chan.

Umi: Let's head back.

So we went back to our house. All of the people in our country now live underground because of the the toxic substances that were released in the nuclear war. Our government had prepared the underground system becaused they had anticipated various reasons that could come up that would lead us to have to live underground. Thanks to that, almost all the citizens of our country was able to survive.

Nico: Honoka, Kotori, Umi! You're finally back.

Honoka: Yeah! It took us a while because I spaced out

Honoka's Mom: It's fine, girls. We just started making dinner.

All of our families in u's are staying in the same house as of now. It is big however so we don't have any problems regarding space.

Kotori: Why did you suddenly space out there all of a sudden, Honoka-chan?

Honoka: Hmmm... That was because...

Nico's Mom: Girls, dinner is ready!

I didn't get to answer Kotori-chan's question because we had to eat dinner already. After we had dinner, we slept and hoped that the war would end quickly. And then...

I woke up past midnight at around 3 A.M and I heard a girl speaking. I looked outside the window and saw the same girl I saw before. I went back to bed a surprised. But when I woke up, I couldn't remember what I saw when I woke up at dawn.

We took breakfast and then cleaned the house, took the dried clothes, and other chores. And then suddenly I saw an unusual animal which couldn't have been a pet of anyone in our neighborhood. Behind the animal, the girl that I saw yesterday was running behind it. I was shocked to see that girl again and with a strange creature. I thought that the animal could have been an animal which I didn't know about so, I asked my parents about the creature and they also didn't know about it. I chased after the girl because I was curious about the creature and when I finally caught up with her the creature was suddenly gone. "Ouch!" was what I heard. I asked the girl if she was alright. I also asked her why the creature suddenly disappeared and also about her name.

The girl: I can't tell you why that creature suddenly dissapeared but my name is You.

Honoka: Ok, I understand that there are things better left unkown. My name is Honoka.

The girl: I'm sorry but I have to go now. Bye! See you hopefully in better circumstances.

And just like that the girl who was named You disappeared. I hoped to see her again.

After 10 years the war was finally resolved and the continent was divided into four parts namely the North Union, South Union, East Union, and West Union. All the people of the continent are now speaking one language to further unify the citezens.

But, this peace didn't last more than 3 years. No wars broke out again however calamity struck. A tsunami came to the West Union, while a big typhoon came to the East Union. An abnormal blizzards to the South Union, and earthquakes struck the North Union. Because of this, many people died causing confusion in the hearts of the people who did not know what to do.

I was able to survive but I don't know if my friends were also able to survive. Our family just happened to have prepared an emergency undergound area for unforseen events. While waiting for the calamity to be over, I just slept to ease the panic in my heart.

I hope that tomorrow will be a better day...

Sorry guys, I intended to make it a small scale story but then too many ideas came up and then I just decided to combine and connect all the stories and split it into 5 parts more or less.
