No One's POV

Ai finds herself in front of her cute pink haired junior in a library. Disappointed, they were not alone. Not that she hates to be with the rest of the club members, she loves their company as much as she shows it on her face.

Being with just Rina, is different now than when before they joined the same club. That meant, being with each other now meant something more than their usual just hanging out after school.

But right now, they were all helping Rina draw some faces in her board. The others were clearly making versions of their own and having fun with it. They aren't making as much sound as they think they are making, as long as they keep it down a notch.

Ai on the other hand is keeping herself on the chair, beside the expressionless junior, though she thinks its the exact opposite. Rina's much more expressive than you think, if you spend enough time with her. You would think that she would be the first to join in on the fun, but the person herself is much more interested in watching Rina work.

"Hey, Rinari..." Ai brings her chair closer to the serious first year on her drawing board. Kanata who was sleeping on her pillow on the other side of Rina, appears to be scooting a bit closer to their side, but Ai dismisses it as her imagination.

"Ai-san?" Rina looks at her from her drawing board.

"Let's go to our usual place after this." Ai grins at the pink haired who nodded immediately at her request.

"Joypoli?"

"Of course." Ai ruffles on Rina's hair at the ridiculous question. She didn't even need to ask. Rina grabs on a bashful drawing of her face on the table and puts it over her face. Ai giggles at the action.

"Ai-san..." Rina tries to at least get the attention of the called girl. Ai is still pulling her forward through the mall. It seems like Rina's call didn't get through to her at all. Rina resorts to squeezing the hand holding hers the hardest she could, but that couldn't even amount to anything but a light squeeze. Nonetheless, it did what Rina wanted Ai to do. Ai stopped in her tracks and faces Rina.

"That's new, Rinari. You always just followed my lead, but this is nice too." Rina raises their hands to Rina's eye level and returns the same light squeeze, earning a light blush from the shorter girl.

"..Umm..." Rina looks at her board and looks through it to properly express what she was feeling at the moment. That was halted with Ai taking the board in her hands.

"You don't need to use this when you're with me." Ai shows Rina such a disarming smile that Rina is left not knowing what to do but to resign to her wishes. "I'll keep this in my bag for awhile. So don't worry and have fun with me."

Ai was about to get the both of them into the shooting arcade they last went to with Ayumu and Yuu, she stopped from going anywhere when she hears an unexpectedly louder than usual voice from Rina."

"Wait-"

Ai couldn't help but swoon at these initiating actions from Rina that she thought she needed more of it. She threw those ideas out of the window before she could even dwell in them.

"W-why are we here today? You don't seem like yourself. Is something wrong?" Rina steps closer to Ai without letting go of their entwined hands.

Ai reaches for the back of her neck before saying something. "I wanted to spend today with just you... or something like that..."

The blonde blinks her eyes a couple of times when she sees a glad expression on Rina's face who dunked her face into Ai's chest.

"...That makes me happy." Wishing that her heartbeat doesn't go louder than this, Ai holds her feelings at bay.

"Want some crepes?" Not wanting to drown in this embrace for too long than in her dreams, she takes a step back and holds on Rina's shoulder. Rina gives her an okay not a second later.

They went together through the mall as expertly as to the number of times they've already walked around this mall. It was full of smiles and laughter and few squeals from one of them, mostly from the older of the two.

'I need to see this kind of Rina more!' was what Ai's mind kept on repeating for the rest of the afternoon. "Best birthday ever."

"Birthday?" Rina looks at Ai with questioning eyes.

She seemed to have said that last thought out loud.

With an apologetic smile, Ai faces Rina from the glass window of a plushie claw machine.

"Sorry for not telling you, today's my birthday. I thought I'd spend it like usual."

A look of panic passes through the eyes of Rina. Looking around for a possible present for her precious senpai who only laughed at her flustered actions.

"It's fine, it's fine Rinari. You already spent enough time with me today to be called a present." Ai keeps Rina from straying to other places by keeping her hands on her shoulders.

"But I-" Rina bites her lip in frustration. "I was too demanding of you today. And you are supposed to be the older one."

"I told you it's fine. Don't worry about it. I liked it." Ai admits, embarrassed.

That took some of Rina's guilt away. Now relieved, Rina shows Ai her best smile she could muster at the moment with the best sentiment in mind.

"Happy birthday, Ai-san. Thank you for spending it with me."

Ai almost cried then and there that could've went out of the mall an embarrassed mess. But she held it in as best as she could while pulling Rina in for a hug.

That was Shun-chan!

I'm not sure if this is in character or not. I haven't gotten far in the game's story. But at least its what I think they would act.

Happy birthday Ai-san! Keep on coming with those puns!
