A much needed rest (NozoEli)

No One's POV

"Nozomi~"

"What is it Elicchi?" Nozomi puts down the book she was holding and adjusts the light on her desk.

"I'm tired..."

"Then you should have just went to bed earlier. I thought you do your job in the evening?"

"I let boss change that so I can work in the morning and sleep with you in the evening."

"Right. There was that."

"What? You actually forgot?! We started sleeping together like a week ago!"

Nozomi only giggles while Eli lets go of her hold on Nozomi.

"I never said anything like that." Nozomi holds on Eli's wrist before it gets out of her view. She then turns to face the blonde and shows her a triumphant smirk.

"What were you planning Nozomi?" Eli can't hold on her bearings seeing Nozomi in control like that so she averts her gaze but the blush that is starting to appear on her cheeks, only resulting in Nozomi grinning.

"Oh, nothing." Nozomi says in a carefree voice as she pulls Eli into her embrace.

"...This position hurts my back. It's hitting the chair you are sitting on." Eli grumbles, looking up at the eyes that is staring right back at her.

"Sorry, sorry." Nozomi quickly lets go of Eli, then moves to face her desk to clean up and turn off the desk lamp.

While that was happening, Eli turned around to face the purplette and crossed her legs with her hands in between her legs that is meeting the carpeted floor. She was looking at the purplette who just tucked some of her hair behind her ear. It only made Eli pout to the side. It was taking too long for her liking.

Nozomi finishes and turns to look at the head down Eli. She wordlessly puts a hand on the blonde hair and lightly strokes on it. She couldn't stop grinning at how Eli is reacting to this sudden spoiling.

"Aren't we going to sleep yet?" Eli suddenly mumbles under her breath. She can't let herself succumb to this momentary pleasure but she does want to be embraced.

"Here I thought you wanted some attention." Nozomi says in a disappointed tone while she retracts her hand from the girl's hair.

"I didn't say that!" Eli quickly looks up to confirm Nozomi's expression to only be surprised at a sudden kiss.

"You fell for it. Hehe~" Nozomi happily smiles as they separate.

"What the heck are you trying to do?" Eli says fast enough for Nozomi to not getting anything but the deep blush on her cheeks and how her eyes couldn't dare to look at Nozomi's face.

"The boss told me that you were nicknamed the 'Golden Beast of the Red Moon', but here you are..." Nozomi cups Eli's cheeks in her hands.

"I know, I know. Of course, its different with you. You're my partner and a really good one at that. Those scumbags were none of that but the baggage of society." Eli suddenly had a serious gaze in her eyes. Nozomi likes this side too but her vulnerable self is just the best.

"Yup, you're doing a good job at that."

"Still you are fine with me having a job like that?" Eli furrows her brows in worry. It only pains the purplete seeing the blonde make an expression like that.

"Of course, why would I not? I feel a lot safe with you by my side." Nozomi confirms.

"That's true." Eli makes out a small smile.

"You're tired, I am too. Let's get some sleep. Hm?" Nozomi mirrors the expression on Eli's face as she pulls her up with both of her hands.

"You're right." Eli lets out a giggle.

They let unnecessary thoughts leave their minds and succumb to the foregone sleepiness from earlier as soon as they embraced each other and under the covers.

It's a really short NozoEli fic for the blonde's birthday

Happy birthday, you charming student council president Elicchi!

OMG, it's going to be the 100th part of this book. I've been writing for two years already, and I don't feel like I've grown much in that department.

I wanna do something for it. Throw me an idea.

I just hope I can write a long one for this special.

This was so short, because I was stumped and couldn't think of much plus I had things to do academically.

Aside that, I'll wait.
