"Since both Riko-chan's and Ruby-chan's birthday are very near with each other, let's celebrate both of them at the same time!" Their ever so energetic leader proposed as she made her way to the front.
"Are you sure about this, Chika-san?" The levelheaded student council president asked as she was just standing by the door.
"Absolutely!" She said with such excitement which made her members to smile.
"Do you already have a plan?" The blue haired diver asked as she raised a brow.
"Yes, I made it with You-chan!" Their leader replied as the said person stood up and went beside their leader.
"What's the plan?" The fallen angel asked as she did her pose almost expectedly as the person by her side scoffed. "It better be good, we can't offer them anything less."
"Hmm, what's this Yoshiko-chan, zura?" The brunette beside her teased as she covered her mouth with her forefingers and the leader had this amazed expression.
"As I thought, you really a kind person Yoshiko-chan." The school director agreed and nodded.
"I told you it's Yohane!" She retorted and continued, "O-of course, I take good care of my little demons."
"On with the plan, so here's the plan!" The ash haired announced as she put something on the whiteboard.
"Wooaahh!" The members said in awe as they saw the plan.
"Don't forget to keep this a secret." The ash haired instructed as she put a finger over her lips. "Especially you, Chika-chan."
"Yes yes, I got it You-chan." Chika said as she raised her hands up naturally.
"You understood the plan now?" You asked as she turned her attention to the members who were looking intently at the paper posted on the whiteboard.
"Yeah, more or less." The third years said in unison as they moved away from the board.
"What about cake, zura?" The brunette asked as she pondered on it a bit longer as the fallen angel beside her nodded in agreement.
"Cake? We're gonna make one!" Their leader answered as she was held down by You.
"W-what are you doing?" Yoshi- rather, Yohane asked out of curiosity.
"I'm keeping Chika-chan in check." You said as if proud.
"Guys!" Another voice was heard as the members reacted frantically.
"I feel my little demons coming. I'm going to teleport them here." The fallen angel said as she started her ritual.
"Stop that, zura." The brunette reminded her as she gave her a chop on the head.
"Hurry! Hide the evidences!" Chika said as if they were hiding something dangerous.
"Flip the board!" You said as she pointed at the whiteboard which one of the third years gladly turned it around.
"What's wrong guys?" The girl in twintails asked as she entered the room together with the composer.
"You're sweating, but you're in your uniforms." The composer asked.
"Don't worry about it Riko-chan, it was just hot in the room." The school director replied as cold sweat came running down on the side of their faces and all took a mental note to thank her later.
"Hmm, okay." Riko said not thinking too hard on the subject and the twintailed girl beside her looked with suspicion.
"Let's head onto the rooftop for practice!" Chika reminded as they haven't practice for the day.
"You can take your time changing Riko-chan, Ruby-chan." You said as it made the said people to tilt their head and the rest of the members headed out of the clubroom.
As the rest of the girls were already out of the clubroom, the two redheads talked for a bit in the room and later on they left the room giggling.
"Set those up here!" You shouted, loud enough for the members near her to hear.
"Y-yes zura!" The brunette responded as she was carrying two boxes of some kind of banner and was having trouble carrying it causing her to stutter.
"Zuramaru, give me one." Yoshi- Yohane offered as she stretched out both of her arms.
"T-thank you zura." The brunette said in gratitude as the fallen angel took one box off her and put it to where You was.
"Is this fine Dia?" The blonde asked as she moved over some decorations to fit the theme.
"Yes, it's perfect right Kanan-san?" Dia responded as she nodded to herself in satisfaction.
"Yes it is, come down Mari." Kanan offered a hand to assist Mari to go down.
"Thank you." Mari thanked as she received her hand.
"We're more or less ready now. Chika-chan!" You announced as she stood in front of the work they made, satisfied.
"Roger!" Chika responded as she already zoomed downstairs to do what she was supposed to do.
"Everyone, let's line up!" You said in behalf of their energetic leader.
"Riko-chan, Ruby-chan!" Chika called as she continued to run towards their clubroom as she didn't bump to any of the two yet.
"Ah Chika-chan!" The twintailed girl said, surprised as they were already walking on the hallway. Chika couldn't stop her running completely and later bumped into the two of them, bringing them with her to the floor.
"Ow ow ow" They all groaned in pain as they tried to sit back up.
"Come on let's go!" Chika stood up almost immediately and took both of their hands and dashed off to the direction of the rooftop.
"C-Chika-chan!?" The pianist shocked but still tried to catch up to the pace of their leader and flashed a smile to the panicking redhead on the other side.
"Surprise!" The members of Aqours shouted at the same time and popped some party poppers to add to the excitement.
"..." The lack of any shocked expressions surprised the other members as the two redheads only smiled at each other.
"Riko-chan/Rubu-chan?" You/Hanamaru called.
"We kind of knew you were trying to throw us a surprise and you weren't very subtle about it too so we kind of noticed some hints." Riko explained which just gained a disappointed sound from their leader.
"Cut those explainations, just happy birthday, Riri." Yoshi- Yohane broke the short silence and shoved a small gift to the said girls hands.
"Happy birthday!" The rest of the girls joined in and each of them gave them their own gifts and presents to the celebrants. They spent the rest of the afternoon partying on the rooftop.
