Collision Course (continuation of Running with Gods)

Bucky

Once you were alone with Bucky in his room you sit on the end of the bed looking at the floor lost in your thoughts. He takes off all his gear and strips down to just his vest and combat pants and sits next to you. He waits for you to speak first.

"I majorly fucked up tonight" you say not looking at him.

"Look you did the right thing, you thought you saw someone and you went after them before he could raise the alarm"

You look at him with furrowed brows "You think i imagined him don't you?"

"Listen" he begins "I'm just trying to think of this logically. This was your first mission in a long time, and you said it yourself you haven't slept properly in over 2 months."

You don't respond but listen to him trying to make sense of the situation. He continues trying to chose his words carefully.

"Your exhausted maybe your mind is playing tricks on you?"

"I swear i saw someone, i chased them, i heard them with my powers" you say now looking into his eyes hoping for him to believe you.

"You know that Tony couldn't see who you were following?" he says with a worried tone to his voice.
You look at him surprised and confused, you think back as you do recall Tony saying that into his coms but you hadn't taken any notice of him at the time.

"I really hope its not, but what if its your stone?" he asks cautiously.

"I know i majorly messed up, i lost the only lead that the team had had in 2 months, i let everyone down and its all because I'm hallucinating, i really don't think it was the stone" you say giving in to the notion that it was your mind playing tricks on you.

Bucky pulls you into a side hug as more tears leave your eyes. "Lets get you out of this gear and into a warm bath. It might relax you into sleeping?" he offers.

"Okay" you whisper from his chest.

Bucky gets up and heads to the bathroom and starts to run you a bath. Standing up you take a deep breath in and dry your face with your hands. You unstrap Thors daggers from your back and place them and the rest of the weapons on the chair across the room. Unzipping your suit and taking off your underwear you grab a fluffy towel from your belongings and wrap it around your body.
Just then Bucky re enters the room, "Its ready".

Walking into the bathroom you see a steaming bath full of bubbles, candles were lit around the room everything smelled of rich lavender. Breathing in the aroma relaxed all the tension in your body. You walk up to Bucky giving him a small smile and a kiss. Dropping the towel from around your body you step into the welcoming bath, the bubbles covering your body.

Bucky grabs a sponge and kneels down next to you "Here"

He takes your right arm and starts to move the sponge across your skin, taking his time to make sure he covers every inch. You slowly relax into him as you slide down the bath resting your back and your head on the warm tub. You close your eyes as he makes his way over to your other arm, you breathe slowly and deeply freeing your mind from anxious thoughts.

"Her skin is so soft" you hear Bucky's thoughts.

You don't respond but you enjoy listening to him.

"God shes so beautiful"

You couldn't help but give a sly smile at his words.

"I know your listening" you hear him again.

"No I'm not" you toy with him.

Bucky moves slowly to your chest brushing the sponge over your collar bone being careful not to touch the stone. Your body ached for him to touch you with his hands.

"I wish he would kiss me" you push into his mind playfully.

You feel his wet warm hand move up to the side of your face, keeping your eyes closed you waited for his lips to meet yours. He inched his face close to yours his mouth centimeters from yours.

"Ohhh don't do this to me" you plead.

You reach your arm out of the warm water and trace your fingertips up to his bicep. Opening your eyes seductively you look into his taking a moment to look at him before he eventually moved in to kiss you. The heat that he had built up between the two of you erupted. You move up to a seated position, your hands searching his arms making his skin wet.

"I'm done with this bath"

He pulls away from your kiss to let you stand up in the bath. Standing in the bath almost made you as tall as Bucky, you resume the kiss letting the warm water drip from your naked body as he moves his hands to your ass cheeks, gently squeezing them. You smile as he kisses you, your body starts to shiver as the water on your skin turns cold.

"It looks like you need warming up" he whispers between kisses.

"Then get me out of this bath Barnes"

Without hesitation he lifts you out of the bath as you wrap your legs around his body making his clothes wet.

"Well i cant wear these now that they're wet" he says as he places you in the middle of the bed. You prop yourself up on your elbows as you watch him removing his clothes.

"Damn" you whisper as you bite your lip.

He crawls on the bed placing his body over yours, he pulls lightly at your hair causing you to tilt your head to the side. He begins to kiss and nibble your neck as your body moves under his tingling at his touch. You scratch at his back as he moves his body in rhythm with yours, sounds of pleasure escape your breath.

After what seems like forever you both crawl under the covers a drift off to sleep.
