Lock Down

You wake to a THUD! As you flinch sitting up, opening your eyes you see a black duffel bag on the floor next to you.

"There's the rest of your clothes, i had Natasha pack them for you." Summers tells you.

You don't talk to her but look at the bag "Thanks"

"The Secretary of State will be here by the end of the week to asses the situation. Not only yours but Buckys too" she smirks.

She walks towards to elevator doors as you stand to confront her.

"So don't go doing anything stupid"

You flip her off as the lift doors close.

------

That was the last you saw of her for 3 days. You had done as she had asked and you hadn't done anything "stupid" but you had become restless.
You needed to talk to someone. You had been on your own except for the occasional guard bringing you fresh food and drink. It was time to try and contact Corax.

Getting up and walking over to the glass which led out onto the helipad, you place your hand on the pane.

"Corax, I'm in..."

Sirens sound as the building goes into lock down, shutters close over the windows, guards enter the room guns pointed at you.

"GET ON THE GROUND! HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD! ON YOUR KNEES!" they scream at you.

You turn and do as they say, thinking to yourself how they could possibly know you were using you powers.

One of the guards phones rings, he answers on the 2nd ring.

"We have her"

He assures the person on the other side of the phone.

"She was next to the helipad window"
He tells them.

"Here" he hands you his phone.

"What did I say about not doing anything stupid? What were you trying to do?" Summers asks you.

"How did you know I used my powers?" you ask not expecting her to tell you.

"Stark Tower is directly linked to the Avengers Facility so when ANYTHING irregular happens, such as a large spike in energy i will be notified. Come on (y/n) i thought you would of figured that out at least" she mocks you down the phone.
"Now, what were you trying to do?" she asks sternly.

"I tried to contact Corax, i need to talk to a friend, i need to talk to someone" you answer honestly in the hopes she would take pity.

"Well now your talking to me" you hear the sarcasm in her voice.

"Summers we've found another Hydra base, wheels up in 5" you hear Bucky down the phone. You smile at the sound of his voice "Baby" you whisper.

"Sure thing Baby, i mean Bucky" Your smile soon turns to you gritting your teeth.
"Well booty calls, i mean duty" she mocks again "I will check in on you later"

You take the phone from you ear and throw it across the room.

"HEY" the guard shouts looking for where his phone had landed "Your lucky that was a work phone"

They both head toward the doors and leave, the one guard picking up his phone as he leaves. The lock down system was lifted and the metal plates on the windows retracted.

You stay knelt on the floor for a moment thinking, why hadn't anyone tried to get in touch with you secretively? Were they that scared of Summers or did they not actually care about you? Had Summers replaced you in the group, it had already seemed like she had won over Steve and in turn Nat. Was she getting close to Bucky.

All these thoughts consumed you "I need a drink" you say to yourself.

Unknown to you Bucky had asked Tony for an encrypted link to the camera system in Stark Tower. Thankfully Tony was able to make it undetected since it was his own creation. Bucky had eyes on you even though you didn't know it. He watched over you every night wishing there was some way to let you know, wishing he could be there.

Getting up you head over to the cupboards, opening a few before you found the jackpot. A bottle of whiskey, you should of really known that Tony would have one lying around. Grabbing a glass off the counter top you set it on the island top in the kitchen and pour until it has a shots worth in. Necking it back, feeling the warm burning sensation in your throat you pour another. Doing this 4 times you ditch the glass and take the bottle to the couch. Turning on the TV you switch it to a music channel and turn up the volume.

You sat mulling over those questions, becoming angrier that your "friends" hadn't tried to get you back to the facility or even tried just to simply call you.
You drink some more and turn up the volume, you start dancing and singing around the living room trying to forget the situation you were in.
You glance out into the night, the city illuminated by streetlights

"This party needs more people" you whisper.

The alarm system sounds and the shutters go down once again, the guards run in as they had done before, but the only things they were greeted with were loud music and a lonely half bottle of whiskey on the counter.
