Collision Course (continuation of Running with Gods)

Mrs Barnes (Penultimate)

You follow him as he walks around the edge of a cluster of trees. You set your eyes on a lovely old farm house. Someone opens the front door and makes there way over to the two of you, he looked somewhat familiar. The man stretches out hand, Bucky takes it and shakes his hand.

"Hi Clint" Bucky says.

"Hey Buck, you two made good time" Clint states.

Clint turns his attention to you "Nice to finally meet you (y/n)"

Then it dawns on you "Your Hawkeye"

"That's me" he smiles proudly. "Come on you two, everything's ready" he says as he makes his way back to the farmhouse.

"What does he mean, will you tell me whats going on?" you ask a little frustrated.

Bucky turns to face you taking both your hand in his, lifting them to his face and kissing your ring finger.

"How would you like to get married today?" he asks nervously.

Your eyes go wide with nerves and excitement as a million questions go through your head.

"What?....but I don't have a dress, what about my hair and make up, are our friends coming?"

Bucky looks into your eyes "Its all been taken care of doll. So what do you say, do you want to become Mrs Barnes today?"

You nod your head "Yes".

"Good then follow me Mrs Barnes" a voice says next to you. Looking over your shoulder you see Natasha. You run up to her and give her massive hug.

"I should of known you were in on this" you tell her.

Nat smiles, "Come on lets get you ready"

You follow Nat into the house and up to a bedroom where you saw another woman.

"Hi, I'm Laura, Clints wife"

"Nice to meet you"

She guides you to a seat infront of a mirror and starts to brush your hair.

"So" she starts "Are you ready for your big day?" she asks excitedly.

"As ready as i will ever be for only finding out 5 minutes go" you reply with a shaky voice.

"Well if it makes you feel any better we only found out yesterday"

"What?" you ask.

Nat hands you a shot of vodka and begins "Barnes came up with the whole "vacation" thing, asked Clint if he could host it here, gave me and Steve the plans of what he wanted and got Tony to give everyone time off.

"He did all that?" you ask a little shocked.

"Under that hard assassin exterior hes a big softie inside" you hear another familiar voice from the doorway.

Turning to look you see Steve in a suit, waist coat, blazer, pretty much the works. It was black with the exeption of his tie and handkerchief being a deep green with feathers on it.

You smile as a tear threatens to escape your eye. That was the moment it started to sink in.
"You look amazing" you tell him.

He give a small side smile and blushes slightly "Well thank you"

"Here" he hands out a small black box with a gold ribbon.
"As best man Bucky asked me to bring this to you"

You stay seated as Laura finishes putting your hair in to a graceful bun, two strands of hair frame the front of your face and a golden feather clip is carefully placed on the lower left side.

Opening the box you stare down at a gorgeous gold necklace with two trinkets attached. One was a black jewel cut in the shape of a raven and the other was a ruby shaped as a heart.

"Its beautiful" you get up and hug Steve. "Tell him I love it"

"He will be glad to hear you like it" Steve tells you, he leans in for a hug. "Well i better get back to see how he's doing" and with that Steve left.

Natasha takes the necklace and puts it on you. She leans he hands lightly on your shoulders and looks at you in the mirror. Laura sets out some make up and does a glamorus yet subtle smokey eye.

"Want to see your dress?" she asks excitedly.

"More than anything"

Nat spins you around in your chair as Laura retrieves it from the wardrobe. She unzip the protective bag and let's it fall to the ground exposing your dress.

"We will step outside while you get changed, oh and there's a little something for underneath in the bathroom for you" Nat winks.

You blush and laugh nervously as they left the room.
Heading over to the bathroom you peek in and see a white lacey lingerie set, bra, thong and garter. You nearly faint with embarrassment as you take it off the hook. You had never worn something so seductive before, let alone had someone pick it our for you.

You take it into the bedroom and slip it on as gracefully as possible. It fits perfectly.
Now for the even harder part, the dress. You get into it with some ease and look at yourself in the mirror.

"Wow" you whisper.
It was a beautiful dazzling white. It had a low cut back and front which exposed your arc reactor. The upper half was floral and lower half was long and floaty, with some of the flowers trailing down the back.
There was also a pair of white high heels that made you a few inches taller and your legs look amazing, even if no one else could see them.

The door opens as only Nat walks back in. She was now wearing a long silk emerald green dress which complimented her red hair.

"Look at you!" she says to you.

"Me? What about you?" you respond.

She smiles "So are you ready? Everyones waiting" she asks as she gives your dress the once over.

Your heart rate quickens and nerves begin to set in.

"Where's that vodka?" you ask Nat.
She grabs the bottle off the table and pours you another shot. Which you gladly take.

"Okay, I'm ready"
