Looking down at the blue light emanating from your arc reactor, it dawns on you "I couldn't stop them, they took the stone" you say as you make your way back to Bucky's side.

"Well they haven't raged an all out war like Ronan did, so let's hope where ever they've gone, the stay there" Nat states.

"Did they say anything before they left? Where they were going?" Steve asks you.

Recalling your memories "She said ' He will be pleased' before they left" you tell Steve.

Bucky pulls you in and kisses your forehead.
"What do you say we head home and figure things out there?" he says to you, but mainly to the rest of the team, calling short the questioning, happy that he had you back in his arms.

"Id like that" you smile.

The flight home was quick but not nearly as quick as what it would of been if you were still able to teleport.

Walking out the back of the jet behind Cap, Nat and Bucky. Tony walks up next to you, "Glad to have you back, kid" he says as he pats your shoulder.

Walking inside the building felt good, "We will let you get settled back in before we run through cctv and figure things out" Steve shouts after you as your already sprinting down the hall towards the stairs.

"Sure thing" you shout back. You couldn't wait, you wanted to see Corax.

Reaching Bucky's room in a matter of seconds you burst through the door hoping to see your friend. And sure enough perched on the window sill with a small bowl of seeds was Corax. He gives a small flap of his wings as you startle him with your entrance.

"CORAX" you shout telepathically.

Instantly he files towards you as your making your way over to him. You grab him gently mid flight and squeeze him to your upper chest. You moved to sit in the edge of Bucky's bed, releasing Corax from your hug as you place him on the bed next to you.

You talk with him for a while, telling him everything that happened after you were "forcefully" removed.

"And now I have this" you tap on your arc reactor and show Corax the suit, and then double tap it to retract it.

"Well that is something!" Corax exclaims.

"Bet i could beat you in a race now" you tell him excitedly, now just
realizing you can fly.

"I wouldn't count on it dear, i've got the fastest wings in the realm" he says playfully.

You turn your head to look behind you and notice Bucky watching the both of you with soft eyes from the doorway.

"Oh hey" you say startled.
"How long have been there?" you ask.

"A short amount of time" he smiles you knew by his smirk it was a lie, but you didn't mind.

"That's assassins for you" Corax says in a sassy tone.

You laugh and stroke his back.

"I will leave you two to get reacquainted. I will be back for that race of ours" he adds gleefully.

"I cant wait" you reply.

You watch with a smile as he flies out the open window.
You get up off the bed as Bucky makes his way over to you. Wrapping his arms around you he gives you the tightest hug. Moving your arms around his lower waist you rest your head in its familiar spot on his chest, taking in his scent.

"Its feels so good to be home" you say softly, looking up into his ocean blue eyes.
Seconds later his lips are against yours as his metal hand runs gently through your hair.

He pulls away and sighs.

"What's wrong?" you ask a little confused.

"Well, I really need to shower. But....I....Don't....want....to....stop....this" he says in between kissing your lips then neck.

You smile "Then take me with you"

That's all he needed to hear.

Instantly he picks you up, squatting slightly he grabs your ass and lifts you, your legs grip around his waist.

You smirk at him, "I've missed this"

He carries you to the bathroom, he sets you down as he switches the shower on. He strides back over to you, you grab his t.shirt and pull it as far up as you could. He had to take it off the rest of the way because of the height difference. You didn't mind that tho as you got to watch his muscles flex as he did so.

You both scramble in between kisses to take the rest of each other's clothes off. You hadn't even made it to the shower, he already had your legs wrapped around him, sandwiched between him and the tiled wall.

After what seemed like an eternity of pure bliss he places you back on the floor, your legs barely holding you up.
Even though you were both hot and steamy you both welcomed the warm water to your skin.
Bucky grabs your shower gel from the shelf and hands it to you. He looks at you with a concerned look.

You notice him looking at your newly acquired arc reactor.

"It doesn't hurt" you assure him.

"I just wish you didn't have to have it" he says sympathetically.
"And I don't know how it works" he says honestly.

You softly smiled at his vulnerability "Then we will talk to Tony later and get him to run through things, as i'm not sure how it works either"

When your both done showering you head into Bucky's room and put on some clothes. Black leggings, black ankle boots with a medium wedge and a long low cut camo t.shirt. You slyly watch Bucky from your mirror as he gets dressed.
Taking a moment to look at yourself after applying your make up "Its good to be home" you think to yourself.
