"Here." After a long day of work, I enter the dojo locker room and hand Viper her repaired daggers.

She gasps and swipes them excitedly, "Is there anything you can't do?"

"Just be careful, they're really—"

"Hah!" Without warning, she takes out an apple and aggressively tosses it across the room, spinning the dagger in her hand before flinging it also. The blade soars like a discus before stabbing the fruit right into the wall, it's juices sparking a firework.

"...Sharp."

"Hey, watch it!" Hoseok ducks when exiting the room.

"Ugh, man that felt good. If only this thing were that damn Cobra sword Sensei keeps on his wall..." Viper removes the dagger and takes a bite of the apple. "And this apple were those new kids' heads."

"You... Wanna eat their heads?"

"Oh shush, you know what I meant."

"I'm playing." I chuckle.

I actually haven't told Viper about my run-in with THE Jeon Jungkook yet. Gosh, it doesn't even feel real to say. It's such big news that spilling right before class won't really do the story justice.

We both pause from our conversation however when the changing room door opens and bleach blonde hair is unveiled. Viper and I continue to talk amongst ourselves quietly while Cammy gets ready on the opposite end of the bench, alone.

There's definitely been a divide since the classes merged. I admit it feels harsh shutting her out, especially when she goes to our school, but it's just hard to trust any of them after last class.

As if unbottling her words, she suddenly speaks up.

"I don't understand... Why is nobody talking to each other? Is the tournament so important that students from different have to hate one another? It's like you'd all eat each other to win..."

"I would." Viper shoots her a predatory gaze while twirling her blade. Cammy's breath hitches.

"You haven't been fighting long, have you?" I sigh.
