"Aish, I hate squats." Yang groans, "They make my thighs burn."
"Would you quit complaining? We're getting a squatting class from Li Mei. Don't ruin this for me." Yun whispers back.
"Well I love it! Squats make my bottom feel firm and toned."
"That's because all your brain mass sinks down to your ass." Viper retorts smugly, making Cammy pout.
"Guys, come on focus. Once the band is squeezing your thighs, pick up your dumbbell with straight arms and bend your knees." I begin squatting to the mirror with my back to the others. "Make sure to keep tension on the band."
"Can I take a lunch break?"
"Yang, it hasn't even been two minutes. It's just a little burn."
"Easy for you to say, you do 1500 squats a day! I bet Jeon Jungkook never had to do this crap."
"Uh— have you seen his butt?" Yun pauses. "The man could crush grapefruits."
"What even is this conversation." Viper sighs.
"You can do it Yang, just try relaxing some tension."
At Yeonjun's words, Yang thaws into a slow smirk before squatting another time, releasing a loud but lengthy fart. Everyone immediately backs away in disgust, "Ew! Yang!"
Viper scrunches her nose and boots him to the floor. "Animal."
As the group of us exercises, Taehyung sits on a mat in the distance with his back to the wall... Staring narrowly at my butt and thighs every time I squat.
