(Just a warning, this one is kinda long and a tad different from the movies/books but I still enjoyed writing this chapter!)

Third person pov:

(Y/n) took a deep breath as she mounted her broom alongside Harry. The volume of the crows was so loud that it was able to be heard in the tunnel where the Gryffindor team was waiting to enter. A few seconds later Oliver pushed off his broom, followed by Harry and then (Y/n). The cheers and screams immediately grew louder as she entered the pitch.

Once out of the tunnel, she took in her surroundings and noticed Mr. Weasley in the teacher/guest section, sitting next to Professor Snape. The two seemed to be having an in-depth conversation, but as soon they noticed that the teams had flown out, they shifted their attention to the game. A smile grew upon her face when she saw her father. He was quick to take a picture of her on her broom with his magic camera.

(Y/n) decided it would be best to take a quick lap around the pitch, which she did, and when she crossed the Gryffindor section, their cheers intensified. She met up with Harry, who was sitting on his broom near the Gryffindor seats, taking in the scenery.

"Ready?" (Y/n) screamed over everyone else as she approached the wide-eyed boy.

"As ready as I'll ever be." (Y/n) smiled at his words. They made eye contact and (Y/n) nodded her head for them to start their handshake. It was a rather simple handshake. They clapped their hands together, then each other's right hand then clapped their hands, then each other left hand, then clapped theirs and finally both of each other's hands. The Gryffindor students went crazy clapping when they saw the funny handshake that the two first years created. After the players got settled, they flew to their positions. Lee Jordan, the student quidditch announcer, welcomed everyone to the game and called out Madam Hooch to start the game.

"Now I want a nice, clean game... from all of you." Her gaze drifted towards the Slytherin players as she spoke the last part. She kicks the trunk and the bludgers shoot up along with the golden snitch.

"The bludgers are up...followed by the Golden Snitch. Remember, the snitch is worth 150 points. The seeker who catches the Snitch ends the game," Lee Jordan explains to all the uncultured students. Hooch grabs the quaffle, which (Y/n) eyes, and throws it into the air, beginning the game.

"The Quaffle is released...and the game begins!"

(Y/n) immediately goes for the quaffle, just like the plan. The plan is for (Y/n) to first go for it, so the Slytherin team thinks she's no competition when really she's nearly the best chaser Gryffindor house has ever had.

She is immediately followed by Slytherin chasers, trying to steer her off path, but she swerves under them and toward the Slytherin hoops. On her way, she avoids the bludger by a mere centimeter which the crowd gasped at. A Slytherin chaser rams into her broom which forces her to fly over one of the teacher's sections in the crowd. (Y/n) regains balance and flew faster toward the hoops and whipped the quaffle into the center hoops so hard that she nearly lost balance again.

"(Y/n) Weasley scores the first goal of the game! 10 points for Gryffindor!" Lee Jordan pushed a button giving ten points to Gryffindor. (Y/n) looped around the hoops and high fived Fred. A large smile spread across (Y/n)'s face as she saw the proud look in her father's face after. Arther stood up cheering as he saw his daughter making the goal.

"Slytherin takes possession of the Quaffle. Bletchley passes to Captain MarcusFlint!" Flint avoided both (Y/n) and Katie's attempt at getting the quaffle back and he even kicked Angelina which shocked (Y/n) at just how far the Slytherin team would go. (Y/n) followed Flint, hoping to get whatever rebound there was to come. The bludger sent by George was dodged by Flint and soon he had reached throwing distance. With a grunt, Flint sent the quaffle, but last second Wood flew up and deflected it with the back of his broom. Flint was shooting daggers out of his eyes to Oliver which obviously angered the younger Gryffindor.
