Third Person pov:

Walking into the girls' locker room, (Y/n) couldn't wipe the smile off of her face. Despite the unusual events that occurred throughout her first quidditch match, everything seemed to work out well in the end. Angie was brought to the hospital wing after her terrifying fall, leaving Katie and (Y/n) the only ones in the locker room.

"I'm so proud of you! I don't know what was happening with your broom but you pushed through!" Katie exclaimed and embraced her friend in a large hug as soon as she entered the locker room.

"Thank you, Katie, you were so amazing, I can't wait for our future games together!"

The two girls chatted about the events of the game, including Flints ~catastophic~ fall which was oh so terrible. They both soon got changed into more comfier clothes, (Y/n) wearing Gryffindor sweatpants and a t-shirt with a muggle band that Arthur brought home one day.

"I'll see you later, I think my friend is waiting for me!" Katie waved bye to (Y/n), who was tying her beat up sneakers.

"Bye, Katie!"

A minute or so later, (Y/n) was all packed and ready to leave the locker room. She had her duffel bag with her clothes in it over her left shoulder and her broom gripped her right hand. As she exited the room, she was firstly greeted by Arthur, whose face had proud written all over it.

"You did phenomenally, I took the morning off today to surprise you!" He said as he embraced her in a dad hug.

"Thank you, dad I was so shocked when I saw you! I'm so glad you could come!"

"I just wanted to say good-bye before I left and I should be getting to work now," Arthur said, checking his watch that read 12:08.

"Okay, I'll see you at Christmas!" (Y/n) replied with a smile.

"Goodbye, sweetheart!" Arthur walked away to find the floo network and get to the ministry.

"(Y/N!!)" The girl turned around to see her bushy-haired friend running up to greet her.

"Hermione!" She was shortly followed by Everley and Viviana, who were panting by the time they reached the two. "Everley, Viviana!"

"'Mione, we love you but damn can you run," Everley said between deep breaths. The three other girls laughed as they started walking back up towards the castle.

"You did so well!" Hermione stated on their way up.

"Thank you!" (Y/n) smiled, not being used to the number of compliments she was receiving.

"Yeah, we are so proud of you!" Viv added.

"You guys are literally the sweetest," (Y/n) smiled and looked up at the castle they were soon approaching. Hermione looked around suspiciously gaining weird looks from her friends.

"I think it was Snape," Hermione whispered.

"Why Snape? (Y/n)'s like his favorite student, she has such a natural gift for potions," Everley furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yeah, what?" (Y/n) chimed in.

"I'll tell you more later," Hermione said in a low voice since they were now approaching groups of students in the courtyard.

(A/n): I am soooo sorry for the lack of an update the last two weeks. I decided just to update with this super tiny chapter just to give you guys something!

Two weeks ago was tech week for my play (which went really well!) and this past week was the week before spring break, so I had an abundance of tests and quizzes!! I promise to update way more since it's vaca week!!!

Love you all, I hope you're enjoying the book so far even though it's only in the middle-ish! Also, later books will be way more personalized and off-original movie/book because more things will be revealed and stuff since it's pretty strict what I can write without giving away anything right now!
