<You guys enjoy this long awaited moment towards the end>
                        ~Amor's POV~

As soon as my dad left the house I was back in full panic mode. My mom went over to talk to Don, knowing my dad got Zurine because they can't get into trouble without each other. Their bromance is something I will never understand; they love each other, but have no problem with beating the other persons ass if needed. Maybe it's the balance between best friend and father in-law.
"Take deep breaths," Adriel tells me, taking my hand and pressing it to his chest like he did that night in his car. He's been hanging out in my room with me for the past ten minutes standing quiet next to my door. "There you go."
I mimic his breathing, taking even breaths. His eyes lock with mine as I try to calm dad
The thought of my dad getting in trouble is scaring me; I'm no stranger to what he has done in the past.
"This isn't helping," I say, starting to hyperventilating. He sighs, his jaw ticking. Leaning up, I grab him by the back of his neck, pressing my lips to his. He doesn't respond for a minute, too surprised by my actions. His hands snake around my waist, pulling me closer. His body against mine feels good.
His thumbs skim my cheeks. Our tongues brush against each other's, lips working together perfectly. He pulls back, a content look in his face. His hands stay in place. "What was that about?"
"I seen it in a show. Kissing or something like that is supposed to calm you down," I explain.
"Wow, and here I was thinking I made your heart skip a beat."
"You do," I say. He grins. "I mean, you-you do something." He pulls me closer, making my heart start beating fast again.
"Do I make you nervous?" He asks, his voice low and deep. I take in a shaky breath.
"Are you trying to distract me?" He nods. "Thank you." My eyes find their way to my clock. "You should probably get home. It's almost one thirty."
    "It fi-"
"Please go, you don't know if your dads home. I don't want anything happening,"
I tell him.
"It's gonna happen anyways. He'll come home shit faced." I sigh, biting my lip.
"If you don't go, I'm gonna worry more."
"Are you threatening me?" I nod. "Fine then."
"Thank you." He makes his way back to the door and stops in his tracks.
    "One more kiss?"
    "Go."

                        ~Ever's POV~

Zurine runs up to the house way too enthusiastically. We haven't done anything like this together since we killed Blue; that sounds terrible. I wish I could say that things I have done make it hard for me to sleep at night, but they don't.
All the lights are on and loud music comes from the house. It's nearly two thirty in the morning. I'm sure Jax isn't even aware Amor isn't here. Zurine bounces on his heels, rubbing his hands together. This man is way to excited for this.
"Will you stop being so excited about this?" He shakes his head, taking his gun out with a wide grin. "You're insane."
"This wouldn't work if I wasn't. Be thankful." Rolling my eyes I open the door. Automatically I'm overwhelmed by the smell of marijuana and alcohol. People are making out in corners like fucking teenagers, nearly having sec.
"It smells like highs school in here," Zurine yells over the music. If Amor was here she wouldn't even be able to sleep. "Where's Jax?" I shrug, pushing through people. A girl straightens up from leaning against the stairs and makes her way over.
"Hey," she says flirtatiously. I slip my wedding ring off and put it in my pocket. Zurine glares at me. "What's your name?" She asks.
"Rafael," I tell her. "This is my friend Brennon." She looks up at Zurine, batting her lashes.
"Wow, two sexy men; how lucky am I?" This girl cant be much older than my daughter; creepy. Is this how teens that don't suffer from depression and anxiety act? If so, thank God Amor does. "I bet the three of us could have a great time."
"He's not my type. I prefer guys more like the one ov-"
"Where's the host?" I ask, looking her up and down. She shifts, arching her back to try and make me look towards her breasts.
"I seen her in the kitchen with Kev," she says, her voice breathy.
"Thank you. And my wife has better boobs." Her grin falls as Zurine and I push pass her to the kitchen. I immediately find Jax leaning against the fridge with a beer in her hand and man kissing her neck while she laughs.
"My heart hurts from being in here," Zurine says. "I'm also kind of hurt she thought someone as good looking as me would have a threesome with you."
"You'd be honored." Jax's eyes widen when we're close enough. Zurine grabs the man by the back of his shirt and pulls him away.
"What the fuck?" The guy says, trying to get Zurine off. Jax glares at me.
"What the hell are you doing here?" She asks through clenched teeth. "I told you that if you didn't let Amor go peacefully I would find something to pin against you."
"And I told you if cancer didn't kill you I would," I tell her. Her eyes widen with fear. I still got it. "Is this Kev?" I ask. The guy shakes his head, calm now.
"I'm Jancen; I'm twenty tree, I'm a col-"
"He asked your name not your life story. Get the bell out of here," Zurine says, letting him go with a shove.
"Take her outside," I tell him. "I'm gonna go find the boyfriend." Jax looks between us at something, hands shaking. I look over at the counter to see what she's stealing at, finding about twenty needles scattered over it. "Heroine? Really?" Zurine graves her leads her somewhere I don't see because I'm headed the opposite direction. I find the a different girl that was eyeing me when we came in. Her blue eyes light up when I walk to her. "Have you seen Kev anywhere?"
"He's upstairs with Yasmine," she tells me. "You wanna go up with me?" I roll my eyes and jog up the stairs. There are only two doors, so it can't be that hard. The loud moaning and sound of a headboard hitting the wall gives it away.
Opening the one on the right, I'm greeted by a man with horrible tattoos on his back banging some girl that looks underage. She gasps when she see's me. "Wanna join?" She asks, trying to catch her breath.
"I'll pass." Why are all these people so damn horny? She gets up and grabs the blanket that's on the ground. Walking past the door she winks at me, clearly drunk by the mouth gesture she did with it. "How old was that girl?"
"I don't know; she looks around seventeen," he says. He looks completely out of it and the needle on the dresser tells me he is. My eyes find the two small duffle bags in front of the window. My blood starts to boil as I realize he was tucking some girl on my daughters bed.
"You're one sick son of a bitch," I say.
"I can't do nothing about that," he says.
"So what? You abuse little girls and sleep with underage women?" He shrugs scratching the back of his neck. "You hurt my daughter when she was younger. I've been waiting for the moment I can finally end you." His eyes harden.
"Oh, so you're the baby daddy of the little bitch," he says. "I don't know where she is man." I knee him in crotch. "She told you didn't she?" He says as I grab him by his collar.
"Told me what?" I ask, heaving from anger.
"About all those nights I would come in here," he says grinning. He knows he's getting under my skin. "She didn't even wake up the first time." I slam his head against the corner of the window.
"What the fuck did you do to her?"
He just looks at me with lazy eyes, smiling evilly. I keep crashing his head into the corner until blood is dripping into my hand from his gash. I let him go, letting his body fall to the carpet. Bending down I just his pulse to make sure he's dead.
My phone goes off. I take it out and look down at the text. I sigh knowing it's just Zurine telling me he's in the backyard. The hallway is now crowded as if they're waiting for a room to be free. Running down stairs and outside I manage to not bump into that many people.
Jax paves back and forth while Zurine watches her. "This bitch is annoying," he says.
"I haven't said anything," she says.
"It's just your presence. Can we get this over with? I have a fine as wife at home I would love to get back to, Ever."
I nod, gesturing for him to move other to her. Her posture changes once starts walking, grabbing her arms and pulling her so her back is against him. "Do you even know where Amor is?"
"She's upstairs," she says. I scoff, thinking about what I found going on in there.
"No, but your boyfriend was fucking some underage girl in her room." She doesn't even look surprised. "You've done enough to my family."
"She's mi-"
"She's mine; you haven't done shit for her. I'm dealt with you for as long as I could but this is the last straw. You don't even know that she attempted suicide a few hours ago." No sadness or guilt crossed her face.
"I believe I gave birth to such a coward." I grab my gun out of my waistband. She tenses further, trying to get away from Zurine.
"Why does everyone try getting away? I'm a great guy." I roll my eyes and set the bullet.
"Pull the trigger and you're gonna regret it," she says. I chuckle, shaking my head.
"Cancer didn't kill you." I
Shoot her twice, once in the chest and once in the stomach. Blood begins soaking her shirt, face immediately. Zurine lets her go. "I'll take her to the car. Go up and throw Kav out the window." He nods, walking towards the door.
"What are we gonna do with the bodies?" He asks.
"Are you up for a bonfire?"

AN: I cannot express my love for this chapter. They're finally gone 😂 And I love Zurine in this. We got a little bit of everything in here; the bromance, the romance, the mention of Zane and Don hanging out.
Question: What do you think Kev menu before he died? What do you think will happen when Ever gets home?
